We promised the ultimate celebration of 25 years of the MG ZR, ZS and ZT.

You turned it into the largest event dedicated to the MG Zed cars in 15 years.

With over 230 entrants, an incredible variety of cars and enthusiasts joining us from across the UK and beyond, ZEDFEST has become something we’ll remember for a very long time.

But what made today truly special wasn’t just the number of cars at Stoneleigh Park. It was the people who brought them.

The atmosphere throughout the day was simply fantastic, and we couldn’t have asked for a more enthusiastic, friendly and respectful crowd to share this milestone with.

So, from everyone at MG Rover Events, thank you.

Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, brought a car, travelled from near and far, joined a club display, traded, volunteered, took part in the Zed Showcase or helped make the event possible behind the scenes.

And above all, thank you to the wider MG Rover community for getting behind our ambitious idea and turning ZEDFEST into something truly memorable.

The ultimate celebration of 25 years of the MG Zed cars is bringing you the ultimate Zed car.

From the salt flats of Bonneville to the show grounds of Stoneleigh, we’re delighted to announce that the World’s Fastest Estate Car, the legendary MG ZT-T “X-15” Land Speed Record Car will be coming to ZEDFEST.

Built by MG Rover and So-Cal Speed Shop in California to showcase the incredible potential of the ZT-T, the X-15 made history in October 2003 by reaching an astonishing 225 mph (362 km/h) on the Bonneville Salt Flats, setting a new world land speed record for an estate car. It returned in 2008 to raise the bar once again under the ownership of Jonathan Suckling, recording 226 mph (364 km/h), a record that still stands today.

The X-15 will return to the Midlands for the first time since its brief appearance at the British Motor Museum during the MG Centenary celebrations in 2023.

Normally kept away from public view and only displayed on very rare occasions, ZEDFEST offers a unique opportunity to experience one of the most significant cars in MG Rover history up close.
