📍 IF YOUR CAR DISAPPEARED TONIGHT, WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO?

Nobody wants to imagine their car being stolen. But having a plan can help.

A vehicle tracker may help by:

✅ Providing location information, depending on the system and coverage.
✅ Supporting the vehicle recovery process.
✅ Giving you a useful additional security measure to complement other protections.

Remember, if your vehicle is stolen, report it to the police and follow your tracker's provider instructions. Never attempt to recover the vehicle yourself.

🔐 Prevention is important, and recovery planning matters too.
Custom Tuning offers vehicle trackers and Phantom Immobilisers. Get in touch to discuss the options available for your vehicle.

❌ MYTH: MY CAR IS NEW, SO IT MUST BE SECURE ENOUGH!
Newer vehicles often have sophisticated factory security. But that doesn't automatically mean additional protection is unnecessary.

Here's what to consider:

🔑 Keyless entry: Understand how your vehicle's keyless system works and follow the manufacturer's security recommendations.

🔒 Extra protection: An additional immobiliser may provide another layer of defence against unauthorised starting.

📍 Recovery support: A suitable tracker can help locate a stolen vehicle, subject to its capabilities and coverage.

🛡️ Insurance requirements: Some policies require specific security equipment. Always check with your insurer before choosing a system.

The bottom line? Don't guess when it comes to protecting your vehicle.

Ask Custom Tuning for advice on vehicle trackers and Phantom Immobilisers.

🚨 3 VEHICLE SECURITY MISTAKES WORTH AVOIDING

A few simple habits can make a difference to your vehicle's security.

1️⃣ Leaving keys near the front door
Keep keys away from doors and windows. If you own a keyless vehicle, follow the manufacturer's advice on protecting key signals.

2️⃣ Assuming factory security is enough
Standard security is important, but additional protection may be worth considering, particularly for desirable or high-value vehicles.

3️⃣ Thinking about a tracker only after a theft
A tracker needs to be installed and configured beforehand if you want it available to assist with locating your vehicle.

🔒 Good habits matter. Additional security can help too.

Want to review your vehicle's protection? Custom Tuning can talk you through Phantom Immobilisers and vehicle trackers.

🍽️ A NIGHT OUT SHOULD END WITH GOOD MEMORIES — NOT A MISSING CAR!

Picture the scene.
You head out for dinner, enjoy your evening and return to the car park. Then comes the nightmare: your vehicle has disappeared.
It's a scenario nobody wants to face, but thinking about security before something happens is a sensible move.

🔒 An additional immobiliser can help prevent an unauthorised engine start.
📍 A suitable vehicle tracker can help you locate your vehicle and assist recovery if the worst happens.

🛡️ Neither system guarantees that a vehicle cannot be stolen or recovered, but the right combination can add valuable layers of protection.
Don't leave vehicle security until tomorrow.
