Looking for some help....

Evri as absolutely useless, if anyone knows of a way to speak to a human, please let me know, I'm sure the chatbot is just a wind up at this point, or can tag "joseph" who seems to be the driver that has the package, that'd be great.

We're urgently awaiting parts, they tried to deliver (to a business) at half 8 last night, okay dokey, I'll just stay late for the redelivery.

surprise! They never bothered to reattempt!

this is the second part we've ordered as the last one got "damaged" and sent back to the seller..... how you damage a subframe in a parcel depot I'll never know!

I feel like going to the depot in the morning and just asking for the parcel so we can get the customer back on the road.

We need these parts like yesterday!

Grrrrr. someone make it make sense.

Evening Express & The Press and Journal covered EVRI before, not sure if anything improved after that though!

Ingenium timing chain failure can turn a warning rattle into major engine damage.

The 2.0-litre Jaguar Land Rover Ingenium diesel engine is well known for timing chain problems, particularly on earlier models.

As the chain stretches and its guides begin to wear, you may notice a metallic rattling sound, often most obvious during a cold start. This should not be ignored. If the timing chain jumps or snaps, the pistons can make contact with the valves, resulting in extensive internal engine damage and a far more expensive repair.

Other factors, including oil dilution and extended service intervals, can accelerate wear within these engines.

If your Jaguar or Land Rover has developed a rattle, unusual engine noise or you are concerned about its timing chain, have it checked before the problem becomes catastrophic.

Inside a Jaguar Land Rover Ingenium diesel timing chain replacement.

These photos show an Ingenium diesel engine stripped down during a recent timing chain replacement at HSR Autos.

The timing chain is designed to keep the crankshaft and camshafts perfectly synchronised. As these engines age, the chain, guides and tensioners can wear, which may lead to timing issues, rattling on start-up and, if left too long, severe engine damage.

Replacing the timing chain is a specialist job that requires the correct locking tools, precise timing procedures and attention to detail throughout the rebuild. It's not simply a case of fitting a new chain.

If you've noticed: • Rattling from the engine, especially on cold start • Timing or engine management faults • Reduced performance • An engine that just doesn't sound quite right
it's worth having it checked before the problem becomes significantly more expensive.
