Why Rare Spec’d 911 S/T’s and 911 R’s Are the Ones to Buy Before It’s Too Late.

Comment “ST” and join our private channel.

A standard 911 R or 911 S/T will always be desirable, but the cars collectors fight over are the ones with exceptional specifications.

Take this 991 R finished in Paint-to-Sample Ivory with tarpan brown interior. One of only two delivered new to Europe, now sold.

Its spiritual successor? A 992 S/T in Paint-to-Sample Olive Green with Heritage interior and carbon roll cage. A specification that transforms an already special car into something truly collectible.

As the market matures, rarity matters more than ever. Unique colors, interiors and factory options can command significantly higher premiums compared to standard examples, and more importantly, make them way more liquid.

If you’re considering adding a 911 R or 911 S/T to your collection, specification should be your first priority.

SOLD: 996 Turbo S Cabrio

Only a few days into Turbo Week, one of the standout cars has already found its next custodian.

Delivered new by Erre Esse Centri Porsche Torino in May 2005, this exceptionally specified 996 Turbo S Cabrio was ordered with the desirable 6-speed manual gearbox and the rare combination of Seal Grey Metallic over Cinnamon Brown Special Full Leather interior, complemented by a host of Porsche Exclusive options.

Having had just two Italian owners from new, this Turbo S was presented in spectacular collector-grade condition, retaining its original paint, original panels, matching-numbers drivetrain, and low mileage.

With only 963 examples produced worldwide, the vast majority of them equipped with the Tiptronic transmission, finding a manual Turbo S with this level of originality, mileage, and specification has become increasingly difficult.

The response to Turbo Week has been remarkable, with strong interest across the remaining cars.

Let’s see how the rest of the week unfolds.

FOR SALE: Continuing with Turbo Week at P1 Cars, a true icon of the air-cooled era.

The Porsche 993 Turbo represents the final evolution of Porsche’s air-cooled Turbo lineage and stands today as one of the most sought-after modern classics ever produced.

Delivered new by Porsche España (Avenida de Burgos) in April 1997, this exceptional example was specified in the rare and elegant combination of Arctic Silver Metallic over Chestnut Brown full leather interior, featuring electric sliding sunroof, soft leather seats, heated seats, and the desirable X54 stainless steel twin oval tailpipes.

Remaining in Spain since new, it has been preserved with extraordinary care by its last owner of over 20 years. Showing just 30,500 km from new, it retains all of its original factory paint throughout, original panels, matching-numbers drivetrain, Mapotex numbered carpets, and complete factory equipment including books, tools, spare wheel, compressor, and two keys.

A truly reference-grade 993 Turbo, combining rarity, provenance, and originality at the very highest level.

FOR SALE: 930 Turbo Sonderwunsch – “Coppa Florio”

A unique chapter in Porsche history.

Ordered new through Porsche Sonderwunsch in 1985 by the Fartak family, this one-of-one 930 Turbo in Paint to Sample Coppa Florio Blue is far more than a rare specification. It is the original Coppa Florio Turbo — the unknown predecessor to the celebrated Coppa Florio 964 Turbo, Turbo S Leichtbau and 993 GT2 that would follow from the same family legacy.

Conceived during an era when Sonderwunsch commissions were still deeply personal collaborations between customer and factory, this extraordinary Turbo was created with the involvement of Rolf Sprenger, known within Porsche as “Mr. Special Wishes”, and even received its final touches under the guidance of Anatole Lapine, then Head of Design at Porsche.

Beyond its unique Coppa Florio paintwork and special-order Hellbeige leather interior, the car features a remarkable collection of bespoke Sonderwunsch details that make it a true one-off factory commission. More importantly, it remains accompanied by period photographs, family archives and documentation that help tell the story behind its creation — a story unlike any other.

Today, more than forty years later, the car remains in exceptionally original condition. It has never been restored, is accident-free, retains the vast majority of its original factory paint and preserves its matching-numbers drivetrain. A level of originality and authenticity rarely encountered among significant early Sonderwunsch cars.

This is not simply a highly specified 930 Turbo. It is a surviving piece of Porsche Sonderwunsch history from a time when individual commissions were shaped by personal relationships, artistic freedom and direct involvement from some of the most influential figures within the company.

A one-of-one factory commission.

A cornerstone of the Coppa Florio legacy.

One of the most important and best-preserved early Sonderwunsch Porsches known to exist.

The Hidden Legend. A Shade. A Story.

After months of secrecy, research, and work behind the scenes, we finally have the honour of presenting something truly unique.

A one-of-one Porsche 930 Turbo commissioned through the Sonderwunsch program, finished in extraordinary Coppa Florio Blue.

But the story goes even deeper.

This very car has been the unknown predecessor and younger brother to the famous Coppa Florio 964 Turbo, Turbo S Leichtbau and 993 GT2, all from the same family lineage and legacy. A story that would later inspire some of the most special modern Porsche Sonderwunsch builds, 992 GT3 RS’s and S/T.

Over the past months, we have worked tirelessly on researching the remarkable history behind the Coppa Florio cars — a journey made possible thanks to Laurenz (), the 19-year-old behind the Coppa Florio Registry, whose passion and dedication to documenting these cars and his involvement helped bring this story to life.

More than just a color, Coppa Florio Blue represents heritage, creativity, family legacy, and the way a shade can connect generations of enthusiasts across decades.

The full film is now live on our YouTube channel.

This is one you do not want to miss.

Ferrari F430 Spider V8 sounds.

Before turbochargers, before hybrid systems, before everything became digital — Ferrari sounded like this.

A naturally aspirated 4.3L V8 from Maranello, roof down, metallic echoes bouncing off every surface. Raw induction, mechanical clicks, cold starts, and the unmistakable scream that defined an entire generation of analog Ferraris.

No music needed.

Just the sound of an extremely well preserved F430 Spider in Giallo Modena.
