We at Town and Country Chrysler are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician as well as a Automotive Apprentice to join our busy Service Department Team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidates will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have experience with automotive repair, ensuring that our customers receive top-quality service at each visit.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Execute automotive repairs including but not limited to engine work, brake systems, electrical systems, and suspension.
Document all customer pay and warranty repairs accordingly
Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with Service/ Parts Team and providing our customers with their best vehicle repair options .
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
Stay updated on the latest Jeep Ram Chrysler automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Experience
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or similar environment is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems.
Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
Ability to work well as a team or individually with minimal supervision
Excellent time Management and organizational skills
Reynolds & Reynolds experience is an asset
