Welp… this is about as worse as it gets, prime example on why a pre-purchase is a MUST before buying!!!!

Customer had called and needed an insurance inspection for his sons 2006 cobalt that he had just bought, within a 30 second glance on the hoist I had told him that this vehicle will never be on road again

- Frame extremely rotted out (structural integrity compromised
- Front brake caliper puking brake fluid
- Evap lines fully rotted through
- Brake and fuel lines very rotted and soft and on the verge of bursting
- Front end completely gone, Passenger inner and outer tie rods
- Driver side lower balljoint on the verge of complete separation
- Aftermarket shocks/coilovers installed and the shock to hub bolts loose and had major play
- Wire chaffing from the frame rotting
- A LOT of sketchy lose wiring for aftermarket deck/subs and headlights
- Chewed up serpentine belt and tensioner and signs of a belt blow out under the hood previously (which may have caused overheating) and MANY more issues

It’s unfortunate because this vehicle will never be safe for the road due to frame rot and it being completely compromised, the vehicle only had 219kms which is fairly low for a 2006. A simple pre purchase inspection could have saved this customer from a complete nightmare. GET INSPECTED BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!!

We have now had a few customers call and say they are selling their car and would like to be proactive with a pre purchase inspection. Like this 2009 Toyota Corolla that had just over 100k on it and was in PRISTINE condition, customer sold the vehicle in under a week.

This is a first! Insurance inspection on a 2007 Lexus Ls600h hybrid V8, yes a V8 hybrid and it’s right hand drive! This vehicle was made in Japan and only has a 12 letter vin compared to a 17 letter vin. It is a presidential spec as well with heated and cooled rear seats, TVs, and many more cool features. The inspection passed with flying colours! Not everyday you get to see a RHD hybrid V8 vehicle, very cool!
