Handy Tip

1 - Book as soon as you get your rego papers in the mail (or app notification)- you should receive this about a month before.

* by booking in straight away, this gives you nearly 4 weeks to get an appointment & will leave you plenty of time if your vehicle needs repairs (tyres etc) to pass the Inspection - because 90% of the time it wont be able to be fixed that same day!

If your vehicle fails the inspection, you have 2 weeks to rectify this & you wont need to pay for a 2nd Inspection!

Ever wondered how our booking system works at Kenny Auto Repairs & The Exhaust Specialists? 🤔

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes insight for our new customers (and a refresher for the regulars 👋).

🔵 REGO CHECKS / PINK SLIPS
We run these in 30-minute booking slots throughout the day. These are designed as “while you wait” appointments — grab a coffee over the road, duck into town, scroll TikTok in the waiting room… whatever keeps you entertained 😅

If those spots are booked out, or the times don’t suit, you’re always welcome to leave the vehicle with us for a few hours and we’ll fit it in between jobs or while waiting on parts deliveries.
These can be booked:
✔ Online
✔ By phone

🔵 SERVICES & REPAIRS
For servicing and repair work, we ask for vehicles to be dropped off between 8am–9am (10am latest where possible).
From there, we work through the workshop using a bit of a “triage” system. Some jobs are straightforward, some turn into bigger jobs, some parts arrive early, some parts don’t 😅 — and sometimes the car before yours decides it no longer wants to cooperate with society.

Because of this, we generally recommend planning to be without your vehicle for the day.
We’ll always call once your vehicle is ready.

We’ve found this system helps avoid disappointment and frustration for everyone if timelines shift due to parts availability or unexpected repairs popping up along the way.
These bookings can be made:
✔ By phone
✔ Email
✔ Social media DM

At the end of the day, we always try our best to accommodate everyone’s individual needs too — whether that’s school pick-up, work vehicles needing to stay on the road, or life just being chaotic (we get it 🫶).

And honestly, sometimes the easiest option is just giving our friendly team a quick call.
We can usually help guide you towards the booking option that will work best for both you and your vehicle 🚗

💭 Bit of a random thought for the day…

As businesses grow, it’s easy to get caught chasing the next big thing — bigger jobs, bigger contracts, bigger opportunities.

But honestly? Some of the most important people in business are the everyday customers.

The ones who come back year after year. The ones who trusted you when you were still figuring things out. The ones who supported your small business before everyone knew your name.

We’re grateful for every customer that walks through our doors — whether it’s one vehicle or a whole fleet. But we never want people to feel like “just another number”.

One of the best parts of being a family-run business is knowing our customers by name. Asking about the kids. Hearing about your holidays, your new jobs, your footy & netball weekends, or what breakdown chaos the old ute caused this week 😅

That stuff matters to us.

Growth is amazing, and we’re incredibly grateful for how busy Kenny Auto Repairs & The Exhaust Specialists has become… but we never want to lose the part of business that made us love it in the first place — the people behind it. We see you & we appreciate you!
