Sporting Car Club of SA The Sporting Car Club was founded in 1934, making us the second oldest continually running car club in the World.

Our 1,700 members all love cars and taking part in motorsport. Community Guidelines:

The event is being run on the long track so come and enjoy the challenge this dedicated Hillclimb track provides.

🖍️🏁 Creative Talent on Display at All Historic Mallala! 🏁🖍️

The students of Mallala Primary School also showed off their artistic talents in this year’s Autosport All Historic Mallala drawing competition — and the results were fantastic! 👏🎨

From race cars and drivers to colourful track scenes and motorsport action, the imagination and creativity on display was amazing to see.

It’s wonderful to see young people engaging with motorsport and becoming part of the All Historic Mallala atmosphere in their own unique way.

A big thank you to all the students and teachers who took part — the future of motorsport creativity is certainly looking bright! 🚗💨

🎨🏁 Future Motorsport Designers in the Making! 🏁🎨

A big thank you to the students of Mallala Primary School who took part in this year’s Autosport All Historic Mallala colouring competition using Goldy’s famous Elfin as the template!

The creativity and imagination on display was fantastic, with plenty of colourful and unique race liveries that certainly caught everyone’s attention. 👏🚗

Now the big question is…
🤔 Will we see Goldy’s Elfin sporting one of these amazing designs in the future?

d📚🏁 Special Visitor to the Club 🏁📚

The Club had the pleasure of Jeremy Cordeaux AM dropping in for a visit to the Sporting Car Club of SA and our renowned Library collection.

Jeremy was shown through the Library by Andrena Clisby, enjoying a look through some of the Club’s incredible motoring history, archives and memorabilia.

We’re also excited that Jeremy will be the special guest speaker at the Club’s Winter Ball on Saturday 11 July — shaping up to be a fantastic evening supporting the digitisation of the Club’s historic film and archive collection.

Bruce ROBERTS

The Sporting Car Club of South Australia is greatly saddened by the passing of Bruce Roberts. Aged 91, a Member of the Club for 74 years, Bruce was a keen Librarian and competitor in track and hillclimb for many years, donating annually to assist works at Collingrove.

He was an esteemed and tireless friend to many and will be sorely missed.

The President, Management Committee and all Members of the Sporting Car Club express their deepest condolences to Bruce’s family
