VB- VL bootlid gas strut kits in action.
Not alot of people know this but we've been producing these kits in house for over 5 years now !!!
these are a direct bolt on kit with no drilling required, hardly seen as they tuck up under the parcel tray and give tonnes of room for the guys running big wheel tubs.

new wheel arch created for this two door torana, after seeing the state of the old one there was no choice but to make a new one from scratch.
A pattern was made from the other side that had already been stretched to ensure symmetry side to side.

slowly working through the process of fabricating the wheel tubs, making sure all the sections sit perfectly against the buck without the need for clamps.

finished up a wooden buck for a set of wheel tubs for a current project. although it might not look like much but there's quite a bit of designing when it comes to creating a piece like this. A lot of variables get taken into consideration such as wheel/tyre diameter and edge radius, suspension travel including the swing ark of the diff not just vertical travel as the diff will travel forwards and backwards slightly throughout its stroke, torsional travel of the diff and the clearance to the inner wheel tubs and the quarter flare, clearance behind the tyre for water and debris deflection as well as visual impact.
the problem with generic spun wheel tubs or drag style tubs is most of the time you're unnecessarily sacrificing needed space for the rear seat as well as loosing quite a bit of structural integrity in the rear of the car if not designed correctly which is why I choose to put more effort into an area that would normally be overlooked.
