Mitch brought his 2000 TH Magna in for a sneaky little touch-up tune! 👌

This one is completely stock, has over 280,000km on the clock, and is still running like an absolute dream.

📈 Before: 124kW / 300Nm
📈 After: 131kW / 340Nm

The peak power gains weren’t huge—and that’s exactly what we expected. These old Magnas are actually pretty well optimised from the factory in stock form, so there isn’t a heap of easy power left to find.

What we focused on instead was making the car better to drive every single day by improving:
✅ Throttle response
✅ Fuel economy
✅ Smoothing and extending the power band, eliminating the sharp drop-off around 4,800rpm

Could we have chased a few extra kilowatts? Probably.

Did we need to on a 280,000km factory engine? Definitely not.

Sometimes a tune isn’t about chasing the biggest dyno number—it’s about making the car feel smoother, more responsive, and more enjoyable behind the wheel. Mitch was wrapped with the result, and that’s what matters.
