We get the odd machine in through the shop , that have the pivot pins , so seized in the chassis , from fretting / rust , and failure to remove the build up of the power coating at the factory , from inside the chassis frame , where the 1 inch diameter pins go through the chassis / and secure loader arms to the machine .

So we snap off the metal retaining plates , clean up the pin end . Set up the largest drift tool we have in the shop an old k93 front axle 😉 ! onto the forklift Tynes , with a loose strap to hold in position . And 6 or so whacks with a sledge hammer will usually dislodge those stubborn pins ..
both sides needed to be whacked out .

This All Rounder machine , we also had to remove a steel hydraulic line that connects the main control bank & to the flow divider. This gives us enough clearance for the pin to come through the chassis! . ( the right side nothing in its way ) so it can be punched straight through .

A bit different.

Meet the Hyundai HX145A High Walker — built for the ground most excavators struggle with. 🚧🌲

With its undercarriage lengthened by 1,040mm, 11 additional track pads on each side and extra-wide 1,200mm tracks, it delivers greater stability, ground clearance and lower ground pressure.

That makes it ideal for forestry, peat restoration and difficult terrain, where a standard excavator could ground out, become unstable or cause unnecessary damage to the landscape.

This unit requires a rebuild to get the arms back into spec . I’ve just positioned a new bush into the flogged out hole , so you can get a indication of the amount of steel that’s been ground away , from the pivot pin , after the bushing has long since gone ! see the air gap .
As a reminder any slop or free play in any pivot point over the arms / mount plate / loader chassis . Catch it early! Save some big $$$$ 👌

A 2014 model 950 classic AWD in for a muffler replacement. Due to the muffler having blown out the outer cover plate , there’s been some excessive exhaust heat pumping out , to the point the air box housing air intake spigot has started to melt , and the plastic clamping blocks holding the 1/4 Hyd hoses to the left lift cylinder also melted . 😳
Right hand side started to blow out a hole . This would have be the original muffler from 2014 build year .

These 950 classics are a ripper machine , dingo in their wisdom decided to drop this model many moons ago . 🤔 I’ve lost count of the people chasing these mid range machines & the k93 / Allrounders .

We’ve pimped up quite a few over to the slightly larger cc Hyd pumps to give em that increased ground speed / increased cycle times . 🥳

K93K dingo, hydraulic oil leak left drive parker 475cc wheel drive motor . Unfortunately was hoping just a Parker seal kit , should have sorted this , but after removing the rear hub , the dust / water seal , has popped out , and this has allowed sand / dirt etc make its way into the cone of the motor , where the Torrington bearing funs on the output shaft , the amount of sand that’s been grinding away through the bearing , and ultimately the shaft surface has been damaged . Bearings u/s . Option install a new parker drive motor for this puppy 🐶

A k93K in for various repairs . Main control bank spools , new orings going in , due to some pretty bad leaks . The right drive spool , was jammed in the bank , usually you can just lift them out without any tools . This bu**er needed a vice grip to wriggle it out . My suspicion was metal debris of some sort wedged the spool , side wall of the bank had something wedged near the lower part of control bank . I’ve managed to hone out the high spot . So with a new spool and fresh orings throughout the rest of the bank , we’ll stop all the Hyd oil weeps/ leaks .

We helped a fella out yesterday , who was chasing a fuel cap for a very early model 950D. Likely late 80s- early 90s
I believe these caps also were used on the hydraulic tank filler spout / as its cover .. 👍 we’ve never stocked these , so , tracked down a reference to what they were back in the day . And flicked him that image , which he sourced from a local auto shop .

A small break in between getting dingo parts orders packed & out the door . So My BMW K1600 GTL gets up on the Hyd lifter for a new Rear tyre , and fresh brake pads . Roll on the weekend ☺️

One of the jobs on Friday was replacing the orings on the main control valve bank on a clients K94Y Pro ( Hyd oil leak/ weeping )
Part of the job also requires the polishing out surface blemishes on the Hyd spool shafts .
I’ve found the use of a drill , a strip of 1200 wet n dry works a treat .
It can clean up a spools surface in around 10 seconds or so with the drill spinning up / with a little sq**rt of WD40 will do the trick .
