Supermega Car. Supermega is a WRC tribute car which started life as a 2005 WRX STI, built by my mates and I. There are no rules other than to have fun.

Today I finally got Supermega engine apart. The head gasket had failed unfortunately due to the heat of the previous thermostat fail.
But at least we know the issue.
Good news is that short motor is fine. So will just bolt up these fancy CREST CNC heads and be on my way!
Sadly not quite that simple.
Will need more parts and a new exhaust fabricating but onwards and upwards!
Shoutout to The Engine Shop for the use of their facilities, time and efforts.

What a terrific weekend down in Pemberton for Tarmac Events WA Tarmac South West!
It was certainly a bit slippery with the rain from the cyclone up North, but on the whole we had a blast.
We even managed to bag a trophy!
We did fall off the road briefly up the top of Pump Hill stage.
We also had a fairly good slide over the finish line of the Down Hill stage.

Another awesome day in Albany racing up the hill for Tarmac Events WA Middleton Beach Hillclimb.
The weather was perfect!
We came 12th outright and 5th in class. We're happy with that as we managed to beat our times from last year and also beat some of the other competitors that bested us last year.
What a day!
Enjoy our best run for the day.
