Mark’s Jeep is back at PSI 🙌💪🏿

After previously coming in for some mechanical maintenance and repairs, this time Mark wanted to give it a bit more attitude and a bit more performance while we were at it.

We fitted a new Manta Performance cat-back exhaust system, then carried out tuning to improve the overall power delivery, drivability and efficiency.

And of course… there’s the bonus nobody complains about — sound 😅
This thing is finally allowed to make some noise now haha.

We always appreciate customers who keep coming back and continue to support what we do. For us, it comes down to communication, quality workmanship, reputable parts and doing the job properly the first time.

WHEN A PORSCHE CALIPER SPITS A PISTON OUT, YOU DON’T JUST PUT IT BACK IN AND HOPE FOR THE BEST. 😅

Tyrone from TRB has added another Porsche to the collection, this Cayenne, and when the brakes needed attention it came straight to PSI.

A caliper piston had come out, so instead of patching it up and sending it on its way, we stripped the caliper down and repaired it properly.

The caliper was rebuilt with new piston seals and boot kit, new copper washer, followed by a complete brake fluid bleed and full brake system check over.

The handbrake also needed attention, so we mechanically adjusted the park brake first to restore the correct clearance, checked operation, then reset the electronic park brake once everything was back within tolerance.

Mechanical problem first. Electronic reset second.

Clearing a fault is easy. Finding the cause and fixing it properly is what matters.

The Cayenne also received a full check over while it was with us so Tyrone knows exactly where his new addition stands.

Tyrone and the team at TRB have supported PSI for a long time and we genuinely appreciate the loyalty and continued trust.

At this rate, if he keeps buying cars, we might need to give him his own parking bay. 😂

This job was also booked through the PSI Performance Garage app, with workshop photos, invoices and vehicle history stored in his own permanent vehicle portal.

A fresh start for Tori’s FG Turbo 👌

Tori’s latest addition to the family fleet made its way into PSI Performance for a proper once and like most cars with a bit of history, it had a few little gremlins hiding underneath the surface.

We worked through the car properly, diagnosing and rectifying the underlying issues, carrying out the required mechanical repairs, servicing, fluids and brakes, along with returning the TCM and ECM calibrations back to standard.

The goal wasn’t to start modifying it straight away. It was to get the car back to where it needed to be first, establish a solid baseline, and know exactly what we’re working with moving forward.

That’s something we believe strongly in at PSI.

Do it once. Do it right.

A big thank you to Tori and her father Alister for trusting us with the car, and for their support and loyalty. It genuinely means a lot to us.

At PSI, we’ve never wanted to be just another workshop taking a set of keys and handing them back. When we align with good people who care about their cars the same way we do, it becomes a team effort and usually a few more cars start finding their way through the doors too. 😂

We’re looking forward to continuing the relationship with Tori, Alister and the rest of the family fleet, and seeing where this FG Turbo goes from here.

More than a business. More than a workshop. We become part of the team.

🔵 VINCE’S IMPULSE BLUE VZ SS — HEADS, CAM & THE LOT!

There’s something pretty special about taking a long time owned SS and giving it the upgrades it deserves.

Vince brought the family’s beautiful Impulse Blue VZ SS sedan into PSI, and we didn’t muck around.

Once everything was sorted, we strapped the VZ onto the PSI Mainline hub dyno for calibration.

A proper all-round package power, drivability, reliability and the supporting upgrades to make sure the whole car works together.

A beautiful SS that Vince and the family have owned for a long time, now given a new lease on life and plenty more years of enjoyment ahead.
