One very important customer today, my dad ❤️

When you get the phone call sounding like the world is going to end and you ask what's happened, and in a panicked voice says the lawn mower is not working and you need to fix it🤦
Well there goes my Saturday 🤣🤣

With this model Briggs and Stratton they do sometimes suffer from hunting on full throttle which this one did from new a quick carby strip down and clean, compression test, oil change and the tappets set. Now it runs better than new 💪

This is what my dad would do for me as a kid fix the s**t I broke sometimes looking at me with a lot of disappointed 🤣🤣🤣 whether it was the BMX or the old Suzuki RM80 by the time you got home from school it was magically fixed.

My first official day off 🤸

What an awesome opportunity I had to pit crew with Supercharged Outlaw's team Drago Niko.
Being out of racing for a while with running the workshop it was amazing to be out on the track again and also to see the calibre of cars and bikes that were out for test and tune it was amazing.
Being my first time at the Bend what a facility they have there.
But what's a road trip to Tailem Bend without its problems 😆 just getting into Ararat the alternator decided to seize in the tow vehicle right at the roundabout 🤦 having to direct traffic for the next 20 minutes yeah that was memorable 🤣.
Thank you to all the Ararat locals and B double drivers who were so patient. We did our best to keep the traffic flowing.
Then the locals come to our rescue. With two random traffic controllers stopped and helped out to a local courier driver Steve pulling the tow vehicle and enclosed trailer with his LDV van YES LDV van to a safe spot on the side of the road. You Steve are a legend 💪
Then more help arrived with young Nelson stopping to render assistance and getting us down to see the boys at Falconoath performance and Scooters custom fabrication.
With the boys still setting up their shop they still managed to make some time for us and get us out of the s**t. Rob and the boys organised another alternator and wired it up and a quick tour of the shop in no time we were on our way.

Rolls Royce B60 Ferret

Sitting in storage for some time the B60 had a little corrosion on the valves and valve seats. Replacing the intake valves a new valve seat installed and a surfaced.
This B60 is ready to fight another day 👍

The father and son team 💪

The little Feroza that could. It definitely had it's ups and downs with some parts being hard to find with the most common issues with cracked rocker cover and timing covers. We searched high and low to find with no luck so with not many choices left the repairs began.
Now with a bore and hone, balanced rotating assembly and some head work this Feroza is ready to hit the trails.
Thank you so much Tim Sr and Tim Jr for bringing the Feroza down to the shop for us to see the engine in and running you guys did an amazing job.

Hold on to your hat VTEC is about to kick in 😀

This awesome Honda B20 come in for a cylinder bore and torque plate hone, balance conrods and pistons and also a much needed surface on the block.
Can't wait to see this Honda CRX fired up. It will definitely be turning some heads when it's completed 💪

What can I say about this engine. It came in sad, tired and worn, definitely had a hard life poor old mate but with a little love from us here at Pakenham Engines we've managed to bring this Ford 144 back to its former glory👌
