This is the result of where attention to detail and passion meet engineering, quality and knowledge.

Starting with a rolling shell, we transformed this ’64 Bel Air Wagon into a properly sorted, fully engineered cruiser.

🔧 THE BUILD:

• Metal-finished shaved firewall, painted body colour
• Metal-finished inner guards, powder coated satin black
• Supplied cammed 327ci SBC with genuine Chevrolet script rocker covers
• Restored factory 4-barrel air cleaner
• Electronic ignition
• Alloy radiator with twin thermo fans and Dakota Digital fan controlleri
• Twin-circuit brake master cylinder with booster and hidden proportioning valve
• All-new brake lines throughout
• Front disc brake conversion — designed to clear 13” and 14” wheels
• Rack-and-pinion steering conversion
• TH700 4-speed auto, still shifted from the factory column — one of the best upgrades you can do to an old cruiser
• Hidden Astra electric power steering pump
• Custom tailshaft with billet centre bearing
• Front and rear airbags, FAE tested and approved
• Relocated front shocks
• Full-length 2.5” exhaust with crossover, tucked up to clear with the chassis on the ground
• Pro Image Automotive adjustable chromoly Y-bar
• Pro Image Automotive chromoly lower rear airbag arms
• Dakota Digital dash

DRAMAS 😬

After hearing some concerning noises from the front suspension, the owner of this Golf tried to make it to their mechanic but unfortunately didn’t quite get there. Luckily, Fastpace Towing got the car safely to us, where we quickly diagnosed the issue and had the correct replacement part sourced from Air Ride Suspension Supplies within the hour, getting the customer back on the road as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, this failure was completely avoidable. Inferior components and poor installation can end up costing far more in the long run than investing in a quality system from the start.

We’ve recommended a complete removal and reinstall of the air suspension system using premium components from Air Ride Suspension Supplies, installed to the standard we’d trust on our own vehicles.

If you’ve noticed unusual noises, uneven ride height, slow leaks, or you’re simply unsure about the quality of your air suspension setup, don’t leave it until you’re stranded. Send us some photos or book your vehicle in for a thorough safety inspection—we’re always happy to help.

One of our coolest builds to date. 🔥

The brainchild of Mitch Creek, this truck is proof that thinking outside the box is what builds something truly special.

With literally hundreds upon hundreds of hours invested, plus countless custom-made parts and fabrication, it’s impossible to fit everything into one post—but here’s the highlight reel.

Stance:
- Front drop spindles with our signature cupped lower control arms
- Completely custom chassis from the cab back, built around our triangulated 4-link centre section
- 7-inch slam bags front and rear
- Suspension e-Level+ air management
- Twin VIAIR | 12V and 24V Air Compressors compressors
- FLO Airride Mfg. billet air tank
- Custom three-piece 20x9 front and 20x11 rear wheels

Driveline:
- Rowdy 502ci big block Chevrolet
- Alloy cylinder heads
- Haltech controlled EFI
- ICE Ignition ignition system
- TH400 with a high-stall converter
- Custom two-piece telescopic tailshaft
- Fabricated 9-inch diff with custom billet axles
- Full 3-inch stainless TIG-welded exhaust from the engine back, complete with remote dumps
- Custom fuel cell with drop-in pump hanger

The finishing touches:
- Full MTX Audio Australia sound system with speakers, subs and amps
- Dakota Digital RTX metric dash
- Fully shaved engine bay
- Rear lift-up bed with timber by regrained
- Complete rewire with hidden battery and isolator
- Custom alloy Pro Touring-style wing

There are still plenty of details we’ve left out, but this build represents exactly what Pro Image Automotive is all about—doing things differently, pushing ourselves, and building vehicles that stand out from the crowd.

Never thought we’d be doing restos on cars built after 2000... but here we are. 👀

After living a pretty hard life, this ute came to us with a long list of mechanical and cosmetic issues. The goal was simple – build a clean, reliable cruiser that looks as good as it drives.

Here’s what went into the transformation:

• Hidden rear drop-in airbags by Air Ride Suspension Supplies
• Upgraded compressor with sedan airbag switch
• Guards rolled
• Front XYZ coilovers
• Cracked strut towers repaired and reinforced
• Full respray by Matt at Top Gloss Refinishing in the factory colour with added metallic, plus interior components colour-coded to match the exterior
• Brand new 6.0L L77 crate engine with reluctor wheel conversion
• CNC-ported heads
• VCM Performance full cam package and OTR
• Finlay Fabrication catch can setup
• Built 4L60, 3200rpm high-stall converter and oversized transmission cooler
• Supplied and fitted 3.46 M80 L*D differential
• Brand new genuine GM big Brembo brake package front and rear, finished in red with black HSV logos
• Full MTX Audio Australia sound system throughout
• Precision wheel alignment

The end result is a tough little ute that’s just as comfortable cruising as it is putting a smile on your face every time you drive it.

A bit of a Joker theme going on with this mafia-inspired staff car! We actually wrapped this one up late last year for the legends over at basscoasttyreandautomotive.

We supplied and fitted:
• Front & rear airbags by Air Ride Suspension Supplies
• Twin VIAIR | 12V and 24V Air Compressors 444C chrome compressors
• Suspension e-Level+ air management system
• 5-gallon tank with our TIG-welded compressor brackets, colour matched to the silver
• Custom hardlines, colour matched to the purple accents

To finish it all off, we handled the full Victorian engineering certification, meaning it’s another bagged build that’s 100% legal on our roads. 😉

GEEDUP 🔥

All the way from Bendigo rolled this tastefully modified Harrop-blown Redline ute in for a rear-only Air Ride Suspension Supplies airbag setup.

Whether it’s a hidden install or a full show setup, every build gets the same attention to detail. We TIG weld our compressor and valve block brackets, position the tank correctly, upgrade to a VIAIR | 12V and 24V Air Compressors compressor, fit an accessible water trap/drain, and finish it off with clean hardline plumbing.

As this ute sees plenty of roll racing, we also added a Nitto fitting inline, making tyre pressure adjustments quick and easy at the track.

To finish it off, the interior received a custom-trimmed panel housing Bluewire Automotive billet switches for a factory-style finish.

Hidden doesn’t mean overlooked. 👌

For many people, cars are simply a way to get from A to B or a tool for work. But for others, they’re so much more.

They’re the backdrop to some of our earliest memories, weekends spent with family, late nights in the shed with mates, and the passion that keeps us out of trouble… well, building them does anyway. Driving them can sometimes have the opposite effect. 😉

We’re incredibly grateful to have customers who share that same passion.

This ‘57 Chevy sat waiting for its second chance for decades, and now it’s finally getting the life it deserves. With a tough small-block Chevy, the perfect stance, and plenty of attitude, it’s going to make up for all those lost years.

Next stop is trim, and we can’t wait to show you the finished build properly. Stay tuned.
