You may have noticed that the majority of the cars featured on here have been freshly detailed by our man 𝒢𝑜𝓁𝒹 𝒞𝓁𝒶𝓈𝓈 𝒟𝑒𝓉𝒶𝒾𝓁𝒾𝓃𝑔 ♛, so when he called us about getting his new rig sorted, we were more than happy to help!

Here’s what we got stuck into:

🔧 Hidden rear Air Ride Suspension Supplies airbag system featuring an upgraded compressor, our custom TIG-welded brackets, hardlines, easily accessible maintenance drains and a custom interior panel housing both bag and tank pressure gauges, keeping everything super clean and tidy!

🔧 Supplied and fitted front coilovers
🔧 Fitted 22” wheels
🔧 Specialised wheel alignment
🔧 Logbook service using Penrite Oil oils
🔧 Fitted supplied GTSR interior

BIG BODY OLDS 🩸

These big ’70s Yank tanks are a vibe, and sitting low and bouncing around definitely adds to the cool factor!

The client supplied us with an airbag kit that was meant to fit, but we quickly realised it was going to need a fair bit of work and was missing a bunch of components. Thankfully, Air Ride Suspension Supplies sorted us out with everything we needed, while we modified and fabricated the rest to get it all working properly.

Keeping with the old-school lowrider theme, we fitted:
• FAAAAST 1/2” ASCO valves and airlines
• 5-gallon air tank with our welded-on compressor brackets
• Twin VIAIR | 12V and 24V Air Compressors compressors
• 200 PSI air system
• Lowrider switches with extended red toggles
• Custom wiring loom
• Muffler delete with dump pipe
• New sway bar link pins

Simple, old-school and heaps of fun. Now sitting right and ready for summer cruising. 🩸

CHOPPED, BAGGED, BLOWN 🔥

One of the most badass cars to come through the shop.

This ’38 Chev has had a life. Built decades ago, it wears its rough paint, traditional roof chop and timeless styling with pride — but when it came to actually driving it, there was a lot left to be desired.

The goal was never to take away from what this car is. We wanted to keep all of its old-school attitude while completely transforming the way it drives, stops, handles and functions.

A small insight into the work carried out:

• Corrected RHD setup with Mustang II IFS
• Astra electric power steering pump
• Custom front airbag setup
• Relocated front shocks
• Winters quick-change rear diff
• Custom triangulated 4-link
• Rear chassis notch with all associated sheet metal work
• Wilwood disc brakes
• Custom stainless brake lines
• Vacuum pump setup with 8” booster
• ShockWave rear airbags
• Custom 120L alloy fuel tank with vintage fire extinguisher filler lid
• Functional fire extinguisher
• Custom rear steel wheels
• Suspension e-Level+ air management
• Twin VIAIR | 12V and 24V Air Compressors 444C compressors
• 5-gallon air tank
• Complete custom black interior — of course
• Car Builders sound deadening throughout
• Electric handbrake
• Dakota Digital KPH dash
• Electric air conditioning
• Seat warmers

• Complete rewire using a modern wiring harness
• Fully engineered and certified

We know we’ve missed plenty, but this gives a small insight into the amount of work that went into transforming this car at our one-stop shop.

It still looks every bit like the tough, old-school chopped ’38 it has always been — it just drives, stops and functions like a completely different car now.

Ashleigh Lindsay definitely had the right idea 👌🏻 Before even picking up his new-to-him VF SSV Redline Ute, he had it booked in with us for a new stance and wheels.

Rear end received an airbag kit, completely hidden away with an upgraded compressor, our custom compressor/valve brackets, remote water trap and drain, all controlled through switches and a gauge neatly mounted in the centre console.

Up front we fitted MCA Suspension Pro Street coilovers. These really are one of the best investments you can make when it comes to getting the stance you want without sacrificing ride quality — a massive step up over the cheaper options on the market.

To finish it off, we fitted the 22-inch Walkys that Wal supplied, completely transforming the look of the ute 💎

Simple setup, clean install and a massive change to the overall stance.

Starting with a rolling shell, we transformed this ’64 Bel Air Wagon into a properly sorted, fully engineered cruiser.

🔧 THE BUILD:

• Metal-finished shaved firewall, painted body colour
• Metal-finished inner guards, powder coated satin black
• Supplied cammed 327ci SBC with genuine Chevrolet script rocker covers
• Restored factory 4-barrel air cleaner
• Electronic ignition
• Alloy radiator with twin thermo fans and Dakota Digital fan controlleri
• Twin-circuit brake master cylinder with booster and hidden proportioning valve
• All-new brake lines throughout
• Front disc brake conversion — designed to clear 13” and 14” wheels
• Rack-and-pinion steering conversion
• TH700 4-speed auto, still shifted from the factory column — one of the best upgrades you can do to an old cruiser

DRAMAS 😬

After hearing some concerning noises from the front suspension, the owner of this Golf tried to make it to their mechanic but unfortunately didn’t quite get there. Luckily, Fastpace Towing got the car safely to us, where we quickly diagnosed the issue and had the correct replacement part sourced from Air Ride Suspension Supplies within the hour, getting the customer back on the road as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, this failure was completely avoidable. Inferior components and poor installation can end up costing far more in the long run than investing in a quality system from the start.

We’ve recommended a complete removal and reinstall of the air suspension system using premium components from Air Ride Suspension Supplies, installed to the standard we’d trust on our own vehicles.

If you’ve noticed unusual noises, uneven ride height, slow leaks, or you’re simply unsure about the quality of your air suspension setup, don’t leave it until you’re stranded. Send us some photos or book your vehicle in for a thorough safety inspection—we’re always happy to help.
