🚜 Grading works are now underway on the Gibb River Road, progressing from west to east.

Maintaining approximately 470km of remote gravel road across some of Australia’s toughest terrain is a major undertaking. Main Roads crews are working through challenging conditions to improve safety and accessibility for all road users.

⚠️ Safety reminder:
🛣️ Expect varying road surface conditions, even after grading.
🐢 Slow down and drive to the conditions.
👷‍♂️ Take extra care around maintenance crews and equipment.
🚧 If you encounter a grader, reduce speed and exercise extreme caution when passing.
