STEWART PODIUMS AGAIN: The pleasing start to the 2026-27 season continued for Michael and the Bohud Racing team during last night's fourth round of the NSW Sprintcar Series at Dubbo Speedway.
Doubling as the Wild West Shootout event, Michael, who had finished his two heat races in fourth and third, worked hard throughout the 25-lap event and went on to greet the chequered flag in third place, which was the team's third minor podium finish of the season.
"It was another solid run for the Bohud Racing team and I, and we had a busy run trying to get to third, which when we did we were able to chase after the two ahead of us in clear air but ran out of laps," commented Stewart.
"A big thanks must go to the Bohud Racing team, as it was a busy night and we all worked hard on the car trying different setups and we were able to bring home another consistent result."
Congratulations must go out to New Zealander and one of last season's Bohud Racing sub drivers Max Guilford on claiming his first feature race victory on Australian soil last night at Dubbo Speedway.
The next outing for the NS # 14 Losi / Illawarra Truck Repairs & Spares supported Triple X car is this Saturday night's second Sprintcar Super Series round at Western Sydney Speedway.
