With cases of Omicron spreading in our community, from 6:00am on Monday indoor mask wearing requirements will apply State-wide.

This means that indoor mask-wearing will be extended to the Kimberley, Mid West, Gascoyne and Goldfields-Esperance.

While there is not currently transmission of the virus in these areas, we know that Omicron moves fast.

Masks must be worn in all indoor public settings, including in vulnerable settings like aged care facilities and hospitals, and on public transport, with exemptions for people with disabilities, people doing vigorous exercise and children under 12.

Level One measures announced today for regions with community spread won't be put in place for the remainder of the State until we see further community spread.

So, let’s mask up WA - now more than ever, we’re all in this together.
