Core Specifications of the Maverick R;

Engine: Rotax 999cc turbocharged triple-cylinder, producing 240 HP with an anti-lag system.

Transmission: 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) with the low gear ratio from the 4-seat Maverick models, offering an essential 40% gear reduction for slow, technical rock crawling.

Drivetrain: Smart-Lok front differential with specialized "ROCK" mode.

Suspension: Trophy truck-style suspension geometry utilizing heavy-duty tall knuckle suspension. Models may also include Smart-Shox with FOX Gen 3 Live Valve semi-active suspension technology.

Ground Clearance: 17 to 18 inches.

Tires & Wheels: 35-inch XPS Hammer King tires fitted on 15-inch beadlock wheels.

The Can-Am Defender XU HD11 is a purpose-built utility side-by-side. It features a 999cc Rotax ACE inline-3 engine that delivers 95 HP and 70 ft-lb of torque. The XU package comes pre-equipped for heavy farm duties, with a factory-installed 4,500 lb electric winch.
