Three Point Classic is a fully independent vehicle service and parts specialist operating in South East Queensland for over 30 years. We offer a cost effective, no nonsense alternative to dealer servicing. As a family owned business we pride ourselves on personalised service

, we structure our branches so that we get to know our customers, in fact each time you visit or contact us you will most likely be dealing with someone you know and more importantly they know you and understand your requirements. For convenience we have five branches, servicing all makes and models and have specialist expertise with Mercedes Benz and all European vehicles. BMW, Volkswagen or VW, Audi car service and other European car service and parts are also part of our specialities. We have our European car experts and mechanics ready on site throughout our Brisbane and Gold Coast car workshops and branches who are able to assist you with car service, parts, repairs, logbook service. So whether you own a Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Lexus, Volvo or even a Porsche or a Ferrari, let us take care of your precious cars with our quality prestigious servicing.

Unlike franchised repairers, when repairing vehicles we look at the best alternatives, we prefer to repair not replace costly components. Our Parts Department source genuine and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts locally where possible to support local jobs but will also look overseas for those harder to find parts and to get the best deal for you. To deliver the quality you can trust we use Penrite oils, Maxxis and Continental tyres, Mann Filters, Hengst, Textar and Bosch for electronic components including batteries to name a few.

Not everyday do we get the opportunity to work on a vehicle of this significance.

A true piece of Australian automotive history has rolled into the workshop for some much needed TLC, carrying with it a story that spans generations.

Can you guess the year, make and model?

We'll reveal all soon enough.

One Mercedes-Benz 280SL R107 is impressive, but two make for an even better sight.

Here’s the rest of the photo set from our early November shoot, when we took these timeless roadsters up to Mount Gravatt Lookout to capture them side by side.

There was a time when Mercedes-Benz engineers were given one simple task, build the best car in the world. The result was the Mercedes-Benz S600 W140. Powered by a V12, this example now sits on a set of period-correct AMG Monoblocks, remaining one of the most imposing and over-engineered luxury cars ever built.

What makes this one even better is that it isn't tucked away in a collection. Its owner still uses it as a daily driver, proving that even decades later, a properly maintained W140 is more than capable of doing exactly what it was built for.

Everyone talks about low kilometres but this 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300D W123 wears every one of them with pride, accomplishing almost a million kilometres since new. The paint may be weathered and the body carries honest patina, but that's exactly what makes this car so special.

Rather than being hidden away, this W123 is still driven, maintained, and enjoyed by an owner who genuinely loves it. A true testament to Mercedes-Benz engineering, and proof that with proper care, some cars really are built to last.

Before turbochargers, there was the M156.

6.2 liters of naturally aspirated AMG V8, a soundtrack to match, and enough character to make modern performance cars feel a little clinical.

This Diamond White pre-facelift W212 E63 AMG recently stopped by the workshop, reminding us why the M156 era will always hold a special place in AMG history.

The AMG GT 4 Door used to be one of those cars that turned heads for the right reasons.

Now? We’re not too sure what Mercedes was cooking with this new generation.

At this rate we’re considering adding “visual and emotional damage” to the workshop hazard list.

New month, 7k followers on Instagram, and what better way to start it off than with a true icon from the Mercedes-Benz catalogue. The Mercedes-Benz 600 W100 Grosser.

Featuring a 6.3L V8 producing around 184 kW, it was built for presidents and executives alike. The Grosser carried a presence few cars could match, it was long, imposing, and effortlessly elegant.

And yes, we know she’s a little dusty… unfortunately time wasn’t exactly on our side that day.

A behind-the-scenes look at what happens after hours.

Before the workshop shuts for the night, the cars are carefully brought inside and parked away safely by our technicians. Whether it’s in for maintenance, repairs or diagnostics, we make sure our customer cars are looked after properly and maintained.

Not every performance car spends its life tucked away in a garage under a cover. This BMW M4 Competition xDrive G82 finished in Isle of Man Green came through the workshop for a routine inspection, carrying the kind of road grime that tells you it’s being used properly.

Daily driven, thoroughly enjoyed, and seeing the kilometers the way an M car should. Even covered in dirt, the G82 still manages to turn heads every time it rolls through the workshop.
