I don't normally use my socials for things like this, but today I'm going to.

I'm a mum trying to support my daughter's small Australian business. ❤️🇦🇺

Our daughter Olivia is a digital artist building her own little business here in Canberra Australia, *Liv's Pins*. She puts hours of work, creativity and love into her artwork and is trying to make something from her talent.

So it's incredibly frustrating when we find her artwork being copied and sold online.

We have found one of Olivia's artworks copied on *Redbubble*. Her watermark has been removed, and the artwork has been uploaded by another seller, *Facturesfory*, who is selling it and claiming it as “Designed and sold by Facturesfory.”

To be clear, the character in this particular artwork is from an existing animation. Olivia isn't claiming ownership of that character. But the actual illustration is Olivia's artwork — her work, her time, her creativity and her finished piece.

Someone has taken that artwork, removed her identifying watermark and is now using it to make money.

And Redbubble isn't the only place we've seen this happen. We've also come across artwork being copied and used by sellers on *AliExpress*, with artists' work being turned into products by people who didn't create it.

For a small Australian artist trying to get started, it's incredibly disheartening.

Imagine spending hours creating something you're proud of, putting it out into the world, only to find someone has downloaded it, removed your name and is selling it.

There is a big difference between creating your own artwork of an existing character and simply taking another artist's finished artwork.

So I'm putting this out to my 7,000+ followers.

❤️ Please support the original artists.

If you see artwork being used without permission, don't support the person selling the copy. Find the original artist and support them instead.

And to Redbubble and AliExpress — please do better at protecting the artists whose work is being used on your platforms.

This isn't just a picture. For Olivia, it's her small business, her creativity, her time and something she's trying to build for herself.

🏁 GRIFFITH — NSW STATE TITLES - RKA ROUND 🏁

“if I can’t win it, I’m bloody glad my mate did”

What a weekend at Griffith with Retro Karting Australia!

Bruce headed into the weekend with one goal — to defend his Clubman Super Heavy NSW title. He gave it everything, but unfortunately, it just wasn’t to be this time around.

BUT… if you can’t win it yourself, there’s not much better than seeing a great mate take it home! ❤️🏁

A massive, massive congratulations to our good mate from Bathurst, Kurt Dickson👏 👏 👏

Bruce may have been unable to defend his title, but we couldn’t be happier to see Kurt take the NSW Clubman Super Heavy Blue Plate off him.

Massive congratulations Kurt — bloody well deserved mate! 🍻🏁

When the karts get heavier… but the team gets older 😂

The Stable Karting team needed to come up with something a little creative to help get those 180kg Super Heavy Clubmans out the gate at the recent RKA round in Griffith.

Enter Bruce 🔧😂

A couple of welds here, a little bit of “that should do it” engineering, and we’ve turned a second-hand quad bike into the official Stable Karting Kart Pusher™.

A handy little push bar on the front and we’re now able to push the big boys out the gate without sacrificing our backs, knees or dignity. 😂

And the best part… it has reverse! 🙌

Because apparently there comes a point in karting where pushing a 180kg kart uphill and out the gate is no longer considered part of the fun. 🤣

As we’re getting a little older and those Clubman Super Heavies are getting a little harder to push around the out grid without injuring ourselves, we figured it was time to get creative.

Problem solved.
Backs saved.
Questionable engineering: approved. 😂🏁

🏁 Great move on the racetrack… NOT so great on the road! 😂

You know that move on the kart track — pull up on the inside, get alongside your competitor and push them wide through the corner. 👌

Perfectly acceptable on the racetrack. 🏎️💨

Unfortunately, someone decided to try the road-going version on me today… overtaking through an intersection and then moving straight into my lane, pushing me towards the left and potentially towards pedestrians.

Mate… this isn’t Clubman Super Heavy. 😂

There’s a BIG difference between racing tactics on a controlled track and driving around other road users.

On the racetrack, we know exactly what we’re doing and what we’re getting ourselves into.

On the road, there could be a pedestrian, cyclist, child or another vehicle exactly where you’re trying to “push someone wide”.

Race hard on the track. Drive responsibly on the road. 🏁

And remember — there are no trophies for making it through an intersection three seconds faster. 😉
