If you've been wondering why some jobs are taking a little longer than usual... this is why! 👀

The boys are flat out with a workshop full of engines at the moment. From complete rebuilds and performance builds to standard overhauls, there's plenty happening behind the scenes.

The good news? We still have room to squeeze in smaller jobs such as flywheel machining, manifold work, and other general machining jobs.

We appreciate everyone's patience while we work through the current workload. We'd rather take the time to do it right than rush it out the door.

"Started as a bottom end. Finished as an attitude problem"

This one is going to look right at home sitting between the rails of a rat rod. 🔥

This 350 Chev came to us as nothing more than a basic assembled bottom end, but it certainly won't be leaving that way.

We've transformed it into a tough street weapon featuring (but not all):
✅ Stage 4 performance cam
✅ Precision alloy race heads
✅ Tunnel ram intake
✅ Twin Holley Sniper EFI units
✅ Plenty of shiny bits to make sure it looks as good as it sounds

From a basic bottom end to a head-turning, tyre-frying masterpiece. We can't wait to see this one bolted into its new home and cruising the streets.

Another one ready to head home 🌊🚤

This one came to us all the way from Airlie Beach as a tired old 351 boat motor with water in one bore. Safe to say it had seen better days.

After a full rebuild, it’s leaving here as a stroked 408 and ready to get back out on the water with a whole new lease on life.

Big or small, local or long distance — you get it to us, we’ll fix it. 🔧

Can’t wait to hear this thing roaring across the water again.

Qualified Engine Reconditioner Wanted!

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Engine Reconditioner/Machinist to join our team.

The successful applicant will have experience in:
• Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
• Measuring and machining components
• Diagnosing Engine faults
• Assembly and disassembly of petrol and diesel engines
• Maintaing a clean and safe workshop environment

What we're looking for:
• Trade qualifications or proven industry experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and Hard working attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team, and individually

Last night at approximately 10:30pm, our workshop was broken into.

From a quick run over this morning, we are currently missing:
• All workshop tools from toolboxes
• Snap-on scan tool/diagnostics tools
• Multiple car parts
• 2 mobile phones
• Cash tin with a small amount of cash
• Speedway paperwork, seals, etc in a "wurths toolbag"
• Bluetooth speaker
• Race transponders and case

We will add to this list as we discover more missing items and more specific once we sort everything.

They have also smashed up some of our equipment and damaged parts of the office.

Will also add some images we have recovered of the vehicle they have used to escape the scene, as well as a still image.

If anyone was around the Alice St / Golf Course area around 10:30pm and saw or heard anything suspicious, please let us know. Even the smallest bit of information could help.

Unfortunately, Correct Auto next door was also targeted, although it appears they may have been interrupted.

Pretty gutting way to start the day.
