Taming a WRX. This vehicle arrived with a 3" into twin 3" cannons. It was not a subtle sound. It had been recently purchased by a gentleman of a more mature age and loves it. He's wanted one for years but this one is just way too loud for his liking.
It isn't going to be used as a street racer, just a cruiser.
The brief;....get it quieter but keep it sounding nice.
OK... gotta make the back sections smaller but not tri-flow restrictive. Lets go chambered.
Might look a little unusual but the end result had him smiling ear to ear. Nailed it.!!!
This is what he wanted, delivered to customers request. I like the final sound... Do you? leave a comment. ( no boy racers thanks).

Here's a quick little kit job...79 series Cruiser 3 1/2" aussie made stainless dpf back system. Accessories sometimes make it challenging.
no fabrication involved...still so very quiet as requested.
