It’s been a little while since we’ve shared a recap of what’s been happening at Precision Auto Haus — and it’s safe to say things have been nothing short of busy. We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support and the variety of work and projects that come through our workshop.
Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to:
We currently have a built engine being assembled for a customer’s Volkswagen Golf R, gearing up for upcoming track days with its new setup.
We’ve completed another Stage 2 package on the MQB platform, this time on a well-presented Audi S3. The vehicle already featured an intake, and we completed the package with a downpipe and intercooler upgrade.
A Volkswagen Golf R came through for a water pump and oil cooler replacement. While in the workshop, we also carried out a retune using Galano Engineering software.
We attended the Outpace Festival, showcasing a selection of vehicles we’ve built. It was a great opportunity to connect with the community, meet some incredible people, and share our passion.
Another highlight was an Audi 8V RS3, where we completed a comprehensive performance package. Having previously installed a JDY intercooler and intake, we finished the build with a downpipe, injectors, and a flex sensor. The result — an impressive 530 horsepower at the wheels.
We also undertook a major job on an Audi SQ5, which was towed in with a crank-no-start issue. After thorough diagnosis, we identified multiple faults requiring extensive work, including high-pressure fuel pump and injector replacement.
On the motorsport side, it was the first outing for Mason Legg Racing in the 40 Year GTI we built. After an outstanding performance, sweeping the weekend and setting a new C Class record — an incredible result and a strong start to the season.
A brand new Audi SQ8 visited us for a resonator delete, with the owner looking to bring out more sound from the 4.0L V8.
