Heyy everyone 🙋🏼‍♀️ Hope you’ve all had a great weekend 🥰

Sharing just another day in the office for us girls 🤣⚙️ 🔧 ✌🏼

There’s definitely no shortage of interesting jobs coming through the workshop, and it’s always nice to see Maddi still smiling amongst all the grease and grime ! 😂

We’ve had a few spots open up in the workshop over the coming weeks.
So, if you’ve been meaning to book your car in for a service, repairs or to have something checked out, now might be the perfect opportunity to get it sorted.. Especially before the Christmas rush!!

As always, texting is the best form of initial contact for us and we can call you to discuss anything further if need be.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our little business!!

Cheers, from the team at Chick Stop 👩🏼‍🔧 👩🏼‍🔧 💖

Heyy Everyone 🙋🏼‍♀️

I know it’s been quiet on our socials for a while, but definitely not behind the scenes.
Despite all the sad things that have happened, we’ve actually had a little ray of sunshine 🌞 showing up for us, everyday 🥹

It’s FINALLY time to officially introduce the newest face on the tools at Chick Stop…

Everyone meet MADDI 💕🔧

Maddi came to us as a 4th year apprentice and now with only a few months left until she’s fully qualified. She’s hardworking, capable, not afraid to give anything a crack and has absolutely lapped up the organised chaos of working on every make, model and random job I throw at her 😂

Maddi has taken a HUGE amount of pressure off me and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better first employee on the tools 🥹🫶🏼

Booking times have already been cut in half, So no more waiting 6 weeks for a booking 😅

We are also currently working longer hours MON-THURS, so Maddi and Renae can enjoy a 3 day weekend, and I can finally start catching up on admin 😬

Please make sure to give Maddi a warm welcome when you come in for your booking 🥰 And as always, thank you so much to everyone for your continued support!!

Cheers, Kimi 👩🏼‍🔧💖

Hey Everyone!!

Unfortunately our little Chick Stop family has been hit with another loss this week, with our beautiful Aunty Linda passing away yesterday 💔

We are feeling pretty heartbroken and a little flat again, so please bear with us over the next few days while we keep the workshop ticking along.

We appreciate everyone’s kindness and patience more than you know.

Business is remaining as usual right now, so no need to change bookings at the moment.

Thank you,

Chick Stop Mechanical ⚙️ 💖

A little update from the Chick Stop team.

Kimi and Renae lost their Mum on Monday night 😭💔

Over the coming days, Chick stop will be operating on a reduced workload, just while we navigate funeral organising and everything else that comes with this loss 😞

Kimi will still be completing some basic bookings where she can, however if anything requires re-scheduling we will be in touch asap soon as possible.

The larger outstanding quotes are still ticking along, and we can hopefully start sending them out soon.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding and support in this incredibly difficult time.

Heyyy everyone 🙋🏼‍♀️
Just popping in real quick and to give an update!!

Things have been crazy behind the scenes lately. We are currently fully booked until August 😱 🤯 !!

This is the furthest in advance I’ve ever been booked!! Which is honestly incredible.

We just want to say a massive THANK YOU for your patience while we are getting back to everyone, regarding bookings and quotes. Not to mention the people who are happy to wait this long 🥹🫶🏼 We truely appreciate you all!!

In amongst all of this, we will be making some changes here soon, to hopefully improve turn around times 😍🤞🏼

While I’m here, this photo is from a Mini Cooper S. This is an intank fuel filter cartridge 👀 In which the customer has only purchased this vehicle recently.

Safe to say it was well overdue for replacement. As fuel filters become clogged, it can restrict fuel flow to the engine, causing all kinds of issues, some times even fuel pump failure.

Once again, we thank you all for the continued support. We wouldn’t be here without it 🥰

Cheers, Kimi 👩🏼‍🔧💖

Heyy Everyone 🙋🏼‍♀️

Just want to give a massive shoutout to all my loyal customers.
I cannot thank you enough for the support I receive, including customers who travel long distances.
A special shoutout to these guys - bringing their car all the way down from Noosa QLD just for me to maintain for them 🥹

That kind of loyalty means more than I can put into words and I’m so grateful to be able to do what I do every day.

Speaking of travelling.. I am heading off to Japan 🇯🇵 ✈️ next week, for a long awaited holiday.

I am taking bookings from when I’m back with the first week almost fully booked already.
I have availability from Thursday 21st May.

Please feel free to continue to contact the business phone via text, as my sister, Renae - will be keeping an eye on the work phone whilst I’m away.

Thank you again for supporting a small, woman-run workshop. It means everything 🥰🫶🏼

Cheers, Kimi 👩🏼‍🔧💖

Heyy everyone 🙋🏼‍♀️
We’ve been a bit quiet on the socials lately, but super busy behind the scenes 👀

This post is for the ladies:

Now I KNOW some of you have been saying
“I’ve always wanted to try drifting but I’m too scared” 😅

Well… this is your sign 💅

This weekend we have our event on, and NOW is your time 😍

We’ve got Drift School + Skidpan this Saturday at The Bend
No pressure, no egos, just learning, laughing and getting sideways safely.

✨ Learn donuts + figure 8s
✨ Progress if you’re feeling confident
✨ Or just come have a play and meet the girls
👉 All you need is a rear wheel drive car

And if you’ve already got some experience…
👉 jump into the arvo skidpan session and send it 💃🏼🫡

We’ve still got a few spots left, and there’s heaps of track time on these days 👀🔥
So tag your friends, send it to your bestie, or just back yourself and come solo, I promise you won’t regret it 🙏🏻

👉 Head over to and hit the link in bio to book

See yas Saturday 😍🥰💖

Some of you may have noticed things running a little more smoothly around here lately… texts getting answered, parts appearing when they’re meant to, and me actually getting some uninterrupted work done. 😅

So it’s time to officially introduce Nae, who has stepped in to help me out with admin and generally keep the wheels turning when things get busy.

Nae is my official admin support, text-answerer, parts-collector, and all-round lifesaver. She’s not here full time, but when she is, I absolutely relish it because it means I can actually focus on the work in the workshop. 👩🏼‍🔧

If you’ve had your texts replied to in a timely manner, you can thank Nae for that. She has an incredible knack for making sense of anything - including my notes - so she’s a perfect fit here.

A little bit about her: Nae is a mum to teenagers, a dedicated bird mum to a cockatiel and a Bourke’s parakeet, and somehow manages to keep everything (and everyone) in line. Not to mention, she's my sister! 💖

Please make Nae feel welcome, and as always, thank you all so much for the continued support, patience, and love you show Chick Stop! 💕🥰

I've been a little bit quiet here during January, but there's been plenty going on behind the scenes. 💖

In fact, I've been working on a little something new! ✨

I know you guys love seeing what's happening in the workshop, so, I've been trialling wearing a camera while I complete some jobs so you guys can be my eyes. 👀

There's no talking, no gimmicks, just tools, cars and day-to-day happenings in the shop. 👌

If that sounds like your thing, you can find my new channel on YouTube.

Let me know what you think, and what you want to see more of.

Hey everyone 😍

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and a Happy entry into the New Year 🥳

I am officially back this week, and to kick off 2026 in fine form, I have jam packed myself with jobs and big days already 😆

I have an abundance of messages and calls to get back to still, which I will be doing throughout the week and mainly on Friday. So, if you haven’t heard back from me yet, you definitely will hear back then 🥰

Over the Christmas break i finally got around to setting up an office area, which is a lot nicer to be able to greet you all from 👩🏼‍💻

I hope you all stay cool today. On that note, I will be out of the shop earlier than usual, just so I don’t become one with the workshop floor today 🫠 🤣

Cheers, Kimi 👩🏼‍🔧💖
