Hey Everyone!!

Unfortunately our little Chick Stop family has been hit with another loss this week, with our beautiful Aunty Linda passing away yesterday 💔

We are feeling pretty heartbroken and a little flat again, so please bear with us over the next few days while we keep the workshop ticking along.

We appreciate everyone’s kindness and patience more than you know.

Business is remaining as usual right now, so no need to change bookings at the moment.

A little update from the Chick Stop team.

Kimi and Renae lost their Mum on Monday night 😭💔

Over the coming days, Chick stop will be operating on a reduced workload, just while we navigate funeral organising and everything else that comes with this loss 😞

Kimi will still be completing some basic bookings where she can, however if anything requires re-scheduling we will be in touch asap soon as possible.

The larger outstanding quotes are still ticking along, and we can hopefully start sending them out soon.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding and support in this incredibly difficult time.

Heyyy everyone 🙋🏼‍♀️
Just popping in real quick and to give an update!!

Things have been crazy behind the scenes lately. We are currently fully booked until August 😱 🤯 !!

This is the furthest in advance I’ve ever been booked!! Which is honestly incredible.

We just want to say a massive THANK YOU for your patience while we are getting back to everyone, regarding bookings and quotes. Not to mention the people who are happy to wait this long 🥹🫶🏼 We truely appreciate you all!!

In amongst all of this, we will be making some changes here soon, to hopefully improve turn around times 😍🤞🏼

While I’m here, this photo is from a Mini Cooper S. This is an intank fuel filter cartridge 👀 In which the customer has only purchased this vehicle recently.

Safe to say it was well overdue for replacement. As fuel filters become clogged, it can restrict fuel flow to the engine, causing all kinds of issues, some times even fuel pump failure.

Once again, we thank you all for the continued support. We wouldn’t be here without it 🥰

Heyy Everyone 🙋🏼‍♀️

Just want to give a massive shoutout to all my loyal customers.
I cannot thank you enough for the support I receive, including customers who travel long distances.
A special shoutout to these guys - bringing their car all the way down from Noosa QLD just for me to maintain for them 🥹

That kind of loyalty means more than I can put into words and I’m so grateful to be able to do what I do every day.

Speaking of travelling.. I am heading off to Japan 🇯🇵 ✈️ next week, for a long awaited holiday.

I am taking bookings from when I’m back with the first week almost fully booked already.
I have availability from Thursday 21st May.

Some of you may have noticed things running a little more smoothly around here lately… texts getting answered, parts appearing when they’re meant to, and me actually getting some uninterrupted work done. 😅

So it’s time to officially introduce Nae, who has stepped in to help me out with admin and generally keep the wheels turning when things get busy.

Nae is my official admin support, text-answerer, parts-collector, and all-round lifesaver. She’s not here full time, but when she is, I absolutely relish it because it means I can actually focus on the work in the workshop. 👩🏼‍🔧

If you’ve had your texts replied to in a timely manner, you can thank Nae for that. She has an incredible knack for making sense of anything - including my notes - so she’s a perfect fit here.

A little bit about her: Nae is a mum to teenagers, a dedicated bird mum to a cockatiel and a Bourke’s parakeet, and somehow manages to keep everything (and everyone) in line. Not to mention, she's my sister! 💖

Please make Nae feel welcome, and as always, thank you all so much for the continued support, patience, and love you show Chick Stop! 💕🥰

I've been a little bit quiet here during January, but there's been plenty going on behind the scenes. 💖

In fact, I've been working on a little something new! ✨

I know you guys love seeing what's happening in the workshop, so, I've been trialling wearing a camera while I complete some jobs so you guys can be my eyes. 👀

There's no talking, no gimmicks, just tools, cars and day-to-day happenings in the shop. 👌

Hey everyone 😍

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and a Happy entry into the New Year 🥳

I am officially back this week, and to kick off 2026 in fine form, I have jam packed myself with jobs and big days already 😆

I have an abundance of messages and calls to get back to still, which I will be doing throughout the week and mainly on Friday. So, if you haven’t heard back from me yet, you definitely will hear back then 🥰

Over the Christmas break i finally got around to setting up an office area, which is a lot nicer to be able to greet you all from 👩🏼‍💻

I hope you all stay cool today. On that note, I will be out of the shop earlier than usual, just so I don’t become one with the workshop floor today 🫠 🤣

That's a wrap for 2025! 🎀

As the year comes to a close, I just want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported Chick Stop Mechanical Services so far.

This year I celebrated four years in business and 24 years in the trade. I was invited into a school to talk motorsport and careers. I drove the driveline out of my drift car 🤣 and got it back on track again. I watched my little business blossom once again to the point of being booked out for weeks at a time, but am now realising its not sustainable to be doing the job of three people, on my own. 🤪

I’ve met so many amazing people, worked on a huge variety of cars and had some pretty special opportunities come my way.

I'm honestly so blown away and grateful to have the most amazing clients. Your patience, loyalty and trusting me with your cars does not go unnoticed, as well as the support of friends and family.

I’ve got some big and exciting things planned for next year already. 🥰🤐

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate every single one of you more than you know. 🥹🫶🏼
