Throw back Thursday for Late Model Racing Western Australia - LMRWA . Driver introduction for the Final round of the Inaugural LMRWA Series at Ellenbrook Speedway for the 1997/98 Season.
Front row, Rob MacGregor, Aj Nylander, John Cardy, Ben Ludlow, Kevin Bell. 2nd Row, Myself, Rob Whittington, W***y Powell, Luke Halliday, Ivor Ladwig, Bruce Trenaman and Ryan Halliday.
The State Title that year was decided over the Seasons points, Aj, Dad and John Cardy went into the Final Round as the only 3 that could mathematically win.
AJ nursed his car home for the win and The Inaugural WA Late Model Title.
How about that for some Thursday night History Lessons.

2025/2026 Season Wrap-Up — Halliday Racing #94

What an up-and-down season it’s been for Halliday Racing.

We managed to finish in the Top 5 in 7 out of the 12 feature races we contested, along with 2 podium finishes across the season and 4 heat race wins While we showed strong pace and consistency, unfortunately mid-season motor troubles took us out of the championship hunt, which was tough to take at the time.

But the team dug deep, regrouped, and bounced back strong to finish the season on a high. There were plenty of challenges, but also a lot of positives, and we’re proud of what we achieved considering the setbacks.

There were a number of people who stepped up and helped us through the tough times — you know who you are — and we honestly can’t thank you enough.

Huge thanks to the people behind this team.

First and foremost, Dad ,Mum & Georgia always there through everything, Dad for building the motor and long hours in the shed. thanks

And most of all my wife Kris, who rides every high and low with me. Racing isn’t always easy, and she feels every bit of it. I couldn’t do this without you
