Hi all. It has been a while since I posted. A number of things contributed that. Anyway a lot has happened since last post and a great many successful young ladies and gents acquired their P plates becoming solo independent drivers. You all know who you are. Congratulations to all.
As you all probably have noticed. I haven’t been posting the success of candidates passing their PDA’s for about 18 months now. There have been a few reasons for that. I will only post those who request, and would like to have their achievements posted from here on.
A couple of other things have need of mention too. The following is to help both learning drivers, and parents, as well as any person who helps, and guides a young learning driver to learn safe driving habits. Two publications exist, which are printed and distributed freely by the Dept of Transport.
One is called - “Drive Safe”
The other - “Driving Techniques for Safer Drivers”
These two books are to be understood clearly, and practiced regularly. It is very beneficial for everyone involved in learner driver training / coaching / supervising to also become very familiar with both of them.
So to speak, I have just created a situation that is commonly referred to as
- “you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot force it to drink.” -
Any learner who is “thirsty” enough to acquire their licence, won’t need to be forced to read them then right ??
To make it very simple, I have provided two links below which will enable you to download your own copy. Or you could visit any licensing centre to acquire your free paperback version. Or…. Ask me at your next lesson for your paper copy.
