But..It's an easy fix.

Another 79 through the workshop, and another reminder of just how much these things are leaving on the table from factory.

Before: 112kW / 372Nm
After our GPD remap: 159kW / 710Nm

Backed by a 1300Nm NPC Performance Clutches kit, because more torque is pointless if the driveline can't hold onto it.

While it was on the hoist, we knocked over a couple of age-appropriate jobs:

βœ… Diff pinion seal

The 70 Series is one of the most under-tuned platforms going around.
Pair the right tune with the right clutch, and you finally get the V8 Toyota should've sold you.

A well traveled solid performer, this one came in needing more than just power β€” it needed a solid intercooler upgrade, and some maintenance.
