A Holden's never just another job on the hoist.

We've never treated one like that — VT through to VF, SS or Clubsport, Maloo or GTS, Holden or HSV.

These are the cars people actually wanted, looked after, swore they'd never sell.

The platform might be discontinued. The work isn't.

We still tune them. Still build them. Still take them seriously — because the people who own them do.

"More power means less reliable."
It's the line that keeps people stock — and it's mostly wrong. Mostly.

Here's the bit that's true: engines do get killed by tuning. We've had them come in after someone leaned them out chasing a number, wound in too much timing, or tuned to a peak figure with nothing left in reserve.
That's real, and we've seen the damage.

But notice what did the killing.
Not the power.
The shortcut.

Power on its own is just air and fuel doing more work. What protects an engine is the stuff that doesn't show up on a dyno graph — fuelling that stays safe under load, timing with margin in it, knowing where the platform actually runs out of road and stopping before it.

That's the entire job.
It's slower, it's less glamorous, and it's exactly why a properly tuned car can be a genuine pleasure to live with rather than something you nurse.

Anyone can find the power.
Knowing what to leave on the table is the part that takes years.

The factory exhaust on a Silverado 1500 is fine. Quiet. Restrained. Polite.

But....That's the problem.

So! We've just fitted this MANTA Performance stainless cat-back and this big V8 finally sounds like it should — deeper, angrier, and unmistakably American the moment you crack the throttle.

Stainless steel construction.
Cat-back only — emissions hardware untouched.
Proper bolt-on fitment.
A note that idles civil and opens up mean.

If you've spent serious money on a V8 and it still sounds like a commuter, you're leaving the best part on the table. 🌶️
