Getting the good oil from Filters Plus 🤩 in the SSSh*tbox!

Rhett is glad the More On s didn't Rally it to Darwin for the 2025 Winter Sh*tbox Rally and auction it off. It's a great, if rather unsightly, little daily and a lot like extra seat time in the Mighty SSS Race Car.

A bit of progress on The HiLOLa, which I reckon suits the name LOLa!

An aftermarket fuel pressure regulator has been purchased but an adaptor to the Toyota 3RZ fuel rail is required. A plan to have the injectors serviced is in place. The throttle body has had a basic clean up and we're hoping for some success with tuning from those actions.

The prominent BUM steering, noticed on the pre-purchase inspection, has been diagnosed and a plan for that and the rear service brake instatement is in action.

Round 4 of the Summer Autocross Series - WA Car Club at Perth Motorplex was a blast. The fastest track so far this Season. The SSS almost on limiter in 2nd gear going deeper and deeper into the braking zones at each end of the track.
Rhett was on fire early posting the quickest times in Tests 2 and 3. Unfortunately the high load corner areas started to degrade and the AWD Turbo brigade became hard to beat.
Rhett managed to make the final with 3rd Outright in the 3 lap tests. Alas a terrible oversight was made and the SSS suffered fuel starvation at the end of Lap 2 in the final 5 lap race. He bailed to the infield to DNF but still baulked Series leader Adrian Kirk-Burnnand who spun after catching up to the stricken SSS and also DNFed 😫
Congrats to Mohammed Ali Aslam for the big W!
Kris put up a great Test 4 time before botching Test 5 on a re-run after catching up to a WRX on a super hot run that had to be aborted but brought home the 2WD Runner Up Trophy by 0.07 seconds 🥳
A great, fun night was had by all 😃
A 1-2 Class lock out by the More Ons is always a top result with thanks to Filters Plus and WA Haulage Repairs for the support and generosity that make these Sh*ts and Giggles possible.
