⚠️ TOYOTA HILUX POWER STEERING RECALL ⚠️

Toyota Australia has issued a recall affecting certain 2025–2026 Toyota HiLux models due to a potential Electric Power Steering (EPS) issue.

The concern relates to vehicles fitted with certain Toyota Genuine bull bar or nudge bar/light-bar combinations. During accessory installation, the EPS wiring harness earth connection may have been incorrectly refitted.

If the connection is poor, the vehicle could suddenly lose power steering assistance, making the steering significantly heavier.

🔧 What you need to know:

* Approximately 13,390 vehicles are affected in Australia
* Certain 2025–2026 HiLux models
* Loss of power steering assistance may occur without warning
* Toyota is inspecting and rectifying affected vehicles free of charge

If you own a late-model HiLux and are unsure whether your vehicle is affected, contact your local Toyota dealer or check your VIN through Toyota Australia’s recall system.

This would be a great opportunity for a school leaver or someone wanting to start a career in the automotive and diesel industry.

No extensive experience required — attitude and willingness to learn are what matter!

The role will include:
• Answering phones and helping customers
• Collecting and delivering parts
• Receiving and organising parts and stock
• Packing and dispatching freight
• General office and administration duties
• Assisting our workshop team when required

We’re looking for someone who:
🔧 Has an interest in cars, diesel vehicles and 4WDs
👍 Is reliable, punctual and keen to learn
📞 Is confident talking to customers
💻 Has basic computer skills
🚗 Holds a current driver’s licence
🙌 Isn’t afraid to get involved and help wherever needed

Toyota is advising lead times of up to 4 to 6 weeks for parts supplied from their Brisbane warehouse, and 6-8 weeks for parts sourced from southern warehouses.
