UPDATE 18th June - Scam Warning!!!

Facebook has been reported to the ACCC Product Safety today due to their lack of support in removing a very obvious scam page!

Please be careful and don't fall for online scams or Facebook scams!!

SCAM WARNING!!!

Gower Smash Repairs are aware of a Fake Profile that has been set-up impersonating us. The account has stolen our intellectual property to appear as a legitimate business, selling second hand car parts at cheap prices, plus freight.

Our office located in Scott Street, Cairns has been notified by many people in the community of this page as we seek assistance from Facebook to have this page removed in order for no-one to be scammed out of their money!

Thankfully no-one has succumbed to the pitfalls of this scam that we're aware of.

Can everyone please take a moment to assist us and report this page as Fake/Fraud.

Originally established in Dec 2022 as Morgan's Smash Repair and rebranded in Jan 2023 as Gower Smash Repairs, however it only started posting on 9th June 2025, with 40 x posts trying to sell fake second hand parts.

We thank everyone for their assistance and support during this time. As a local business that strives to go above board for all customers, we're very disheartened to see this and we hope with the education of online scams out there today, no one will be a victim.

Our local company of 40 years in business, established by Tony Bower in 1980 can keep serving our customers vehicles and maintaining your safety on the road.

Harry Gower, our long term paint and panel expert has taken over the reigns, with such similar surnames, you could say the writing has been on the wall for a long time!

We are still the same local team, same location offering the same great services!
