Pic for attention: Looking for some fresh young people ladies and gentlemen 17 years and older, to come volunteer at the burnouts and join the burnout club. We as a club are looking for pad staff to help with cleaning and operations of running the pad . Also we are looking for people to work in the merchandise tent selling merchandise and other operations involved within the club. A good level of fitness and dedication and be reliable is needed to fulfil these positions . If you want to be part of the team and be involved in the action and gain some great experience please don’t hesitate to come forward and register your interest. Quite often people bring me a carby thinking it’s a certain size and it’s not, I inform them of the actual size . But how is anyone supposed to know when a product is being marketed as the same body for 3 different sizes 650,700,750??? . When they all use the same base plate and all 3 have different Venturi sizes, yet this one part number can do all 3 apparently. It’s confusing and misleading and this is why people size Carbys wrong thinking they have a certain size but it’s not. Holley have a few models which are not the size they are labeled. If you have a carb stated to be a specific size but unsure best remove the base plate and measure the Venturi sizes, but also be aware they can tapper at the bottom to match the base plate so measure at a few depths to get an accurate measurement.

Come across this today, good reminder to not buy Chinese crap . There are just some parts not worth risking and one is a carby. There are many types of Chinese carbs I refuse to work on. And I’ve said it before no I can’t tune your Chinese carb that doesn’t run right. And then there’s the people who say “I fitted a Chinese carb and it runs fine” but you have no idea how much better it could run with a good quality carb. I laugh when I see some high performance engine fitted with a crap brand Chinese carb😂. Just tell your engine you hate it and want it to die.
