Offroad Grit RV

29/09/2026

This one is a little extra special! 🙌

After a longer wait than originally planned due to some health challenges along the way, we finally got to welcome Peter back to OGRV to collect his new van!

We’ve been looking forward to this handover for quite some time, and it was great to finally see Peter here, getting the rundown and preparing to hit the road in his new Offroad Grit RV.

Peter and Kym, from all of us at OGRV, congratulations on the new van! We hope there are plenty of kilometres, incredible destinations and good times ahead.

A lot of what makes a great caravan isn't particularly exciting to photograph.

It's underneath it. Behind the walls. Inside the cabinets. In the way the electrical system is installed, the plumbing is routed and the chassis and suspension work together.

They're things you might never notice on a showroom walk-through.
And that's kind of the point.

We want you thinking about where you're going next, not what's happening behind the wall.

So when you're comparing caravans, look past the benchtop and ask what's underneath it and how well it is put together!

No limits. Pure off-grid freedom.

Chris & Miriam from Aussie Destinations Unknown have recently unveiled their ultimate off-grid setup!

Built by Offroad Grit RV, this custom composite caravan & GMSV Silverado HD tow rig run on a high-output Victron Energy x Arizon Off Grid system.

🔷 Caravan: 24V Victron Lynx control, Victron lithium batteries & Arizon Aero 24V solar array.

🔷 GMSV Silverado HD: Independent Victron Energy & Arizon Off Grid system for standalone off-grid camping.

🔷 Smart Monitoring: Real-time monitoring for total energy management anywhere in Australia.

Congrats to ADU, Offroad Grit RV & Arizon on a game-changing build! 👏

We’ve also got a Bespoke build underway featuring a new battery system configuration and, for the first time, a diesel oven! We’re keen to see this one come together and put some of these new products to work.

And our Grey Demo is still here and available to walk through. It’s also FOR SALE, so if you’d like to check it out or want more details on the build, get in touch with the team!
