Mechanical Service Advisor

A Mechanical Service Advisor acts as the primary liaison between customers and workshop technicians, managing vehicle repair processes from check-in to pickup. They are responsible for greeting customers, diagnosing needs, providing accurate cost/time estimates, invoicing, ordering parts and managing workflow to ensure high customer satisfaction. Key skills include excellent communication, technical automotive knowledge, and strong organisational abilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Automotive Knowledge: basic understanding of vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for explaining complex repairs to customers.
Customer Service: Ability to handle complaints, build rapport, and provide a positive experience.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with computers and computer literacy.
Organisational and time management skills: ability to prioritize and complete all jobs.
