Our redesigned Coastal Cat 2.8m x 7m cabin and deck mould is officially underway. It’s been a long time coming, and we’re excited to finally bring this new design to life.

While we put the finishing touches on the new mould, we’re kicking off production using our existing moulds in the coming weeks. Watch this space for details.

Big progress on the 7m x 2.8m Coastal Cat!

The new cabin layout is really taking shape. We've just completed the windscreen and hardtop moulds — new parts have been laminated and test-fitted to the gunwale and cabin plug, and everything is up beautifully.

Next step: creating the new mould over the coming weeks. Exciting times ahead ⚓️

We’ve been making progress on putting our own spin on the proven 7m x 2.8m Coastal Cat hull.

The plug work for the updated cabin windscreen and hardtop is nearly complete, and the new dash has been upgraded to accommodate two 16” screens.

We’re looking forward to completing the new moulds in early 2025.

The Molds have been refurbished ready to start production at our Bundaberg based yard. All plans, build processes and laminations have been designed to the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), National Standard For Commercial Vessels. (NSCV).
