💛 Today is Thank a First Responder Day. 💛
It’s a reminder to pause and recognise the people who step forward when their communities need them most. Whether it’s responding to emergencies, supporting people through difficult moments, or helping keep our towns and communities safe, first responders continue to show up.
You often see the lights, the vehicles and the uniforms, but behind all of that are people. People with families, jobs, responsibilities and lives of their own, who choose to answer the call when it comes. Today we acknowledge the jobs attended that can’t be spoken about, the countless hours keeping others safe, the sacrifices, the training and teamwork, the dedication to make a difference every day.
To every first responder, thank you for showing up when it matters most, thank you for the time you give, your support and sacrifices. Thank you today and every day for your service. 🧡
