❤️🏁 PROUD IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. 🏁❤️
Today officially brought our 2026 Tri-State Club Challenge to an end… and while Broken Hill might be coming home with 3rd place, we’re coming home bloody proud of what our little club achieved.
And honestly? The final result doesn’t tell the whole story.
Going into today, the points were SO CLOSE and the racing was absolutely on! Nobody really knew where each club was sitting throughout the day, every heat, every position and every single point counted.
Our Broken Hill crew started STRONG. 🔥
Unfortunately, when it came time for the finals, racing luck wasn’t on our side.
Laykin was caught up in an incident involving a lapped kart, Booba had a battery issue and the gates closed before we could get another one in, and Zaiden somehow had to tackle his final with NO BRAKES! 😳
Sometimes that’s racing. You can prepare, travel, work your backside off and give absolutely everything… and things still don’t fall your way.
But what we saw from our club today meant more to us than any trophy. ❤️
We saw Broken Hill members helping each other in the pits.
We saw people lending parts, tools and hands.
We saw our crew standing on the fence cheering for every Broken Hill driver that hit the track.
We saw people celebrating each other’s wins and picking each other up when things went wrong.
And that right there is what makes us so bloody proud of this club.
Across this entire series, Broken Hill SHOWED UP.
We travelled the kilometres.
We put in 110% at every round.
We supported the other clubs.
We raced hard.
We laughed A LOT. 😂
We made some pretty bloody good memories along the way.
And apparently we also won best weather and best BBQ/social night of the series, so we’re absolutely adding those to the trophy cabinet. 😂🏆
When this Tri-State idea first came together, nobody really knew what it would become.
But three grassroots kart clubs — Broken Hill, Mildura and Barossa — worked together and created something pretty special.
The racing was competitive, the banter was even better, and friendships were made between people who probably never would have crossed paths otherwise.
So while the shield won’t be making the trip back to Broken Hill this time…
We’re still calling our crew winners. ❤️
Because they consistently showed up.
They backed each other.
They represented our club with pride.
And right until the very last kart crossed the line today, they never stopped trying.
Congratulations Team BH. 🏁❤️
Third on the points table.
First in our eyes.
We couldn’t be prouder of our little club.
And to Mildura and Barossa…
Thanks for one hell of a series. 🤝🏁
