Over the past couple of years we have been lucky enough to have had Rod Frain delivering a number of "Apply Low Risk Heavy Vehicle Driving Behaviour" courses for us, for Brisbane based ALDI truck driving staff. Working with our great friends, Paige, PD & Huddy from Destination, we just spent 10 days leading two drive programs for Nissan on K'gari (Fraser Island). Starting from the Novotel Twin Waters we had two groups with over 20 people in each, driving 10 sparkling new Nissan Patrols and Navaras...... following our trusty GU Patrol wherever we led them. Certainly made for some fun times with lots of beach and inland drives along the way.......and of course lots of 'splash' opportunities. As usual, I took one (or a few) for the team😂😂, getting soaked in sea water, muddy water and even falling backwards into a wave fully clothed in order to get the best pics I could. Of course each day was punctuated with lots of great eating and drinking opportunities at Kingfisher Bay Resort as we got to know each group and enjoy lots of laughs and stories along the way.

We’ve had a wonderful time in Broken Hill, with Michael having so many great people from a number of different organisations taking part in 4WD and Recovery courses this past couple of weeks. Everyone was so eager to participate in all activities, and we think each of the participants benefited from what they learnt and a great time was had by all. These are a couple of pics of some of the groups involved. Thanks, as always, to NPWS, Transport for NSW, water & Wetlands, Local Land Services, NDIA, Aboriginal Affairs and West Darling Arts for taking part. Looking forward to our next trip back here in April.
