Some repairs just shouldn’t happen.

This cylinder head was absolutely covered in RTV silicone in an attempt to stop a rocker cover oil leak.

It didn’t work.

More silicone is not a substitute for correct preparation, the right gasket or proper repair procedures. In fact, excessive sealant can create more problems than it solves.

If the repair involves emptying half a tube of silicone onto it and hoping for the best…

Please. Step away from the toolbox. 😅

We cleaned up the previous attempt and repaired the leak properly.

Do it once. Do it properly.

There’s something pretty special about unboxing a brand new engine — especially when it has 6.4 litres of American V8 written all over it.

One door that simply wouldn't open.

This Audi came into our workshop after the right rear door suddenly stopped opening altogether.

Our team carried out a structured diagnosis and traced the problem to a damaged wiring harness where it passes through the door hinge area.

Rather than replacing parts unnecessarily, the damaged wiring was professionally repaired in-house to industry standards.

The result? Everything working exactly as it should again.

Sometimes the hardest faults have the simplest symptoms.

This Ford XR8 ute came to us with a random hard starting issue that had proven difficult to diagnose.
After previous repairs and plenty of money spent, the problem was still there.

Rather than guessing or replacing more parts, we carried out a structured diagnostic process to determine exactly what the vehicle was doing—and why.

The result?

A faulty Engine Control Module (ECM) was identified as the cause.
We removed the module, had it professionally repaired, and the XR8 was back to starting as it should.

Control module faults are some of the most challenging problems to diagnose. That's why following a logical testing process is so important before condemning an expensive component.

A quick note about our courtesy vehicles.

We know how important it is to stay on the road while your vehicle is in our workshop.

That's why we offer three courtesy cars and a courtesy ute for tradies—completely free of charge.

We don't charge a hire fee. We simply ask that you return the vehicle:
⛽ With a full tank of fuel, just as you received it (with proof of refuelling).
🛣️ Any tolls incurred during your use are your responsibility.

We don't mind if you travel out of town. Use the vehicle as you need to while yours is being repaired.

We cover the registration, insurance, servicing, maintenance and cleaning because we believe it's a service that makes life easier for our customers.

All we ask in return is that the vehicle is returned in the same condition it left us—clean, fuelled and ready for the next customer.

To help us continue offering this service free of charge, customers who repeatedly return a courtesy vehicle without refuelling it, excessively dirty, smoked in, damaged, or with unpaid tolls may not be eligible to use one in the future.

We appreciate everyone's understanding and cooperation in helping us keep this service available for those who genuinely need it.

This Mitsubishi Triton has just passed an incredible milestone—half a million kilometres.

This V8 Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series has just ticked over 500,000km, and it's still doing what it was built to do.

Workhorses like this don't reach milestones like that by accident.
