Suppliers of Diesel Technic, AM Bus and Truck (Pvt) Ltd was started by Anthony Malakou in 1991 as a small family business and today is one of the leading importers, stockists and distributors of original and aftermarket bus and truck spare parts, suitable for DAF, IVECO, MAN, MERCEDES, RENAULT, SCANIA and VOLVO as well as BPW, HENRED FRUEHAUF, ROR and SAF for trailers. The company has always prided itself with providing quality spares at affordable prices and has worked closely with its customers and suppliers over the years to create a product range second to none. Strong relationships have been built through the years with the leading OE manufactures worldwide and it is with great pride that AM Bus and Truck represents these manufactures in Zimbabwe. As a result of these relationships, AM Bus and Truck receives preferential prices from its suppliers, which are in turn passed on to our loyal customers. AM Bus and Truck’s branch networks is expanding and there are already established branches in Graniteside, Msasa, Southerton, Bluffhill , a distribution agent in Bulawayo and more branches on the way! AM Bus & Truck looks forward to many more years of providing quality and competitively priced aftermarket spares to the transport industry in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa.

MEET RAMMY ESSOP

We’re pleased to welcome Rammy Essop to the AM Bus & Truck Sales Management Team.

Rammy joined us in March 2026, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience gained over a long career in Zimbabwe’s motor spares industry.

His career began in 1989 as a sales rep with Payen Gasket Manufacturers, before moving on to the Mike Appel Group and later Wholesale Spares. Over the years, his work has taken him extensively throughout Zimbabwe and provided valuable exposure to manufacturers and suppliers in South Africa and Europe.

Throughout his career, Rammy has developed a strong understanding of the Zimbabwean spares market - its products, suppliers and, most importantly, its customers. This experience makes him a natural fit for AM Bus & Truck, where we have always believed that good business is built on quality products, industry knowledge, strong relationships and dependable service.

Rammy is already feeling at home and making his mark as a valued member of our team, helping us to introduce new products and expand into new markets.
