🕯️ In Memoriam
Jesinniel Ngwenya
13th January 1967 - 22nd August 2026
MHDSRIP
It is with profound sadness that we remember our colleague and friend, Jesinniel Ngwenya, who passed away suddenly in Tete, Mozambique, on Saturday, 22nd August 2026.
Jesinniel joined the Nick’s Motors family in June 2018 as an International Driver and gave the company eight years of dedicated service. A rated Bulk Vehicle Operator, he was highly qualified in the transportation of hazardous goods and LPG operations.
Beyond the wheel, he gave his time and his voice to his fellow drivers, serving on the Nick’s Motors Workers Committee from 2023, as a BVO Representative for the Zimbabwe Haulage Truck Drivers Union, as a workers’ representative on the Company Disciplinary Committee, and as Worker’s Committee Chairman at the time of his passing.
Jesinniel believed strongly in fair and safe working practices. He stood up for his fellow drivers while remaining equally firm about the responsibilities and standards expected of them. He brought both to every table he sat around.
More than his qualifications or positions, however, his presence became part of the everyday fabric of Nick’s Motors - a colleague, a representative and a familiar face among all who travel our roads.
Jesinniel was repatriated home to Zimbabwe from Tete on Saturday, 29th August 2026 and has now been laid to rest.
We are grateful for the eight years he shared with us and extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, family, friends and fellow drivers.
Rest peacefully, Jesinniel.
Your final journey home is complete.
You will be remembered here.
Safe travels further.
