Tyre Safety Starts with Awareness

Your tyres are the only point of contact between your vehicle and the road. Even the smallest defect can compromise safety, performance, and comfort.

Routine tyre inspections aren’t optional, they’re essential. They can prevent accidents, reduce downtime, and save lives.

Here are the key tyre defects every driver should watch for

- Cracks
Caused by ageing, UV exposure, or underinflation. Cracks weaken the rubber and can lead to air leaks or worse, blowouts.

- Cuts
Sharp objects and road debris can slice into the tread or sidewall, increasing the risk of sudden failure.

- Bulges
A visible bump means internal damage. This is a serious hazard replace the tyre immediately.

- Bead Damage
Issues near the rim can lead to air loss or tyre slippage, often due to poor installation or rough handling.

- Sidewall Damage
The sidewall carries the tyre’s strength. Any cuts, scrapes, or bubbles here can quickly escalate under pressure.

- Tyre Separation
When layers begin to detach due to heat, ageing, or defects, the tyre becomes unsafe no compromises here.

Pro Tip:
Make tyre checks part of your routine monitor pressure, inspect for damage, and replace worn or compromised tyres early.
