(Luke 10 vs 19)
" have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you."

In the quiet moments before dawn, where the world is not quite asleep and not yet awake, I find resilience. It's in the way the first light of day tiptoes across a sleepy horizon, persistent in its quest to bring warmth to a cold and darkened earth. Resilience is in the steady rhythm of our hearts, beating against all odds, echoing the silent promise that as long as it beats, we endure, we fight on.

Through the storms of life, when heavy rains try to wash away our paths, resilience is the stubborn refusal to stop placing one foot in front of the other. It's in every breath we take when the air feels too thick to breathe, every time we get up when life's winds blow us down.

Resilience is deeply human. It's found in the shared smiles that say "we understand" without words, in hands that pull each other up from the rubble, in the soft comforting words that patch up our worn and battered spirits. It isn't loud or boastful; it's the silent strength that flows through our veins, the unspoken resolve to keep going when everything seems to scream "give up."

To all who face their storms today, know this: Your resilience is a lighthouse in the fog of uncertainty, an anthem that plays on when the music's stopped. You are the sunrise in the making, the symphony that plays on in the silence. And no matter how dark the night, remember, there is a power within you, as relentless as the dawn, that refuses to be extinguished. Keep going. Keep shining. Keep rising. 💪 You have the strength Within.Never Give Up!

Why are many automotive manufacturers switching from 6-cylinder engines to turbo charged 4-cylinder engines?

By Eng CHIYALA BRUCE
(Technician in automotive mechanics, DIP in Technical teaching)

It is a compromise to gain fuel economy, reduction in engine weight and complexity, lastly it is a relatively compact power package vs a V6, especially V6 with a turbo.
For a long time engineers knew by turbo-charging an engine, you can get more power in a small package but overall reliability may be compromised. Further studies also showed that most drivers rarely exceed 4000 rpm and a majority of the time the average engine produce less than 50% of the rated power for daily use. By using a turbo-charged 4 cylinder you can get the power equivalent of a V6 when used in light duty transportation - cars and cross-over vehicles especially when full synthetic oil is used. However when heavier load or steeper grade is encountered, the turbo 4 will go into the turbo-enrichment mode which requires higher rpm, turbo boost and more fuel to do the job, sometimes even more than a normally aspired V6 or V8! The 2019 GM Silverado 1500 2.7 liter turbo-charged 4 cylinder produces 310 horsepower, 25 HP more than the 4.3 V6, 45 HP less than the 5.3 liter V8, but when called upon to move a truck, it used more fuel than the 5.3 liter V8 according to Car & Driver Magazine test.
4 cylinder turbo when matched with a vehicle that is less than 4500 lbs can do the job quite well as shown in 2019 road-test on Ford Edge and Hyundai Sante Fe with fuel savings to boot. For some smaller manufacturers like Mazda, they don’t even offer a V6 for their entire line-up and that application goes all the way up to 3 row seating CX9 model. When used in a heavy vehicle, pull a trailer or climb a hill, your fuel economy will drop and durability may suffer as well. There are limits to what a turbo 4 will do and it will serve you well to know its limits. However, for occasional use, it may satisfy your needs.

WHAT INFLUENCES CAR SPEED?

There are several factors that determine the speed of cars. These factors are universal.

AIR RESISTANCE

Air resistance is the number one enemy of speed. The reason for this boils down to physics. Air molecules actively try to retain their initial position, so no matter how hard you try to run over them with your supercar, they will always spring back in place, which creates turbulence. Your car's engine would have to expend horsepowers to overcome the resistance, and that's where all the research into aerodynamics is all about ? to minimize air friction and turbulence.

Power and electronic limitations

As previously hinted, the top speed of production cars is regulated. However, the limitation in Japan is even more severe than average at 112 mph. This is usually an electronic speed limiter that prevents your car from reaching the full engine potential.

Power limitation, on the other hand, is the mechanical limit on the top speed of your car. If your car isn't limited by its engine, there would be an electronic speed limiter on your car's horses.

LEGAL SPEED LIMITS

For now, the only road without any speed limit is the German Autobahn. But it has frequently been the unsightly scene of 200 mph crashes and high-speed stunts went awry.

For the rest of the world and other German roads, the speed limits range between 45 and 85 mph.

THE LAST GEAR
Some cars can go very fast but the place where you can really step on the pedal is a completely different matter. In addition, pushing your car to its limits is outright dangerous, especially if you have little experience at these speeds.

But if you have gasoline running through your veins, enjoy some weekend racing and put your vehicle through its paces on a proper track.
