*Crankshaft Position – Camshaft Position Correlation Bank 1 Sensor A*.

In plain terms, the engine’s crankshaft and camshaft (bank 1) are out of sync, usually because of a timing issue, sensor fault, or chain/tensioner problem.

Typical causes include:
1. Faulty camshaft or crankshaft position sensor.
2. Timing chain/ belt misalignment or wear.
3. Incorrect camshaft phaser operation (if equipped with variable valve timing).
4. Wiring or connector issues affecting the sensors.

Common fixes involve:

this can also cause the engine to run rough at idle and stalling I believe this is what made someone to think that the engine was starving from fuel
