A democratic Zambia requires an independent Judiciary that protects the Constitution, upholds human rights and administers justice fairly.

No individual, political party or public authority should be above the law. Judges must be free to make decisions based on the law and evidence, without improper pressure or interference.

Judicial independence must go hand in hand with integrity, accountability, transparency and equal access to justice.

The people of Zambia deserve a justice system where every citizen is treated fairly, every person's rights are respected, and justice is not determined by political power, wealth or personal connections.

LMPZ stands for the principle that the law must apply equally to all.
