ACD Witbank has a 5 star MIWA rated workshop and is RMI approved. Trust us for all things auto repair - because precision is our mission! Trust has been earned - celebrating15 years in the industry🚙🚗✨️
Most cars on South African roads are now over 10 years old. That usually means no warranty, tighter budgets, and a lot of trust placed in the workshop you choose. And when something goes wrong, it’s rarely because a workshop set out to do the wrong thing. More often, it comes down to miscommunication. A misunderstanding about the job, the cost, or the outcome.
That’s why MIWA keeps coming back to one simple piece of advice. Talk to the workshop first. Give them a fair chance to sort it out. In most cases, that resolves the issue.
But 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 you take your car 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 matters.
When you use an RMI-approved, MIWA-accredited workshop, you’re choosing a business that has committed to clear standards around ethics, professionalism, and accountability.
If you want to protect yourself as a motorist, here’s what actually helps:
• Take your vehicle to an RMI-approved, MIWA-accredited workshop
• Look for MIWA and RMI certificates displayed on the premises
• Scan the QR code on the certificate to confirm it’s still valid
• If there’s a concern, raise it directly with the workshop
• If it’s still unresolved, escalate it through the Retail Motor Industry Organisation - RMI
What this really means is that you’re not left guessing. More than 94% of disputes handled through the RMI are resolved successfully.
Your car is often the second most valuable thing you own, after your home. Taking a minute to check a workshop’s accreditation is one of the simplest ways to protect that investment.
