Our 5,000km lap of South Africa, and the cities we’ll visit and have GTGs in, going the long way to 🇿🇦❤️

South Africa is a huge and beautiful country, and so I and everyone joining the trip is so excited to see so much of it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While CampFest is the largest VW show in Africa, we realise it’s a huge distance for many people to try to travel to and that is not feasible for many, so we’re doubly excited to meet people, and see cars and experience local cultures further afield from the show, as we make our long circular drive there 👏

We’ll announce meeting places online leading up to each day, and there will be live tracking and updates from the road of course.

The dates are super subject to change - depending on how the car is feeling, and how otherwise distracted we are along the way.

At this time, we are not sure if the car will even be complete on Sunday ( are doing amazing unbelievable work, but many of the parts are coming with me in suitcases), so the Joburg GTG might be with or without the car or on a trailer, or who knows right now. The real drive starts next Monday morning, and I arrive Friday evening 😅

The dates after Cape Town are also very subject to change at the moment - running repairs, delays, distractions, etc are sure to happen, so we’ll update along the road.
