Ktm 200 xc-w came in a bit sick....
Motor was stuck!
Turns out the conrod main bearing was shot. (Luckily no piston / cylinder damage occurred)
Main crank roller bearing also found not up to standards and replaced the necessary bearing.
While motor was open,all seals replaced as well.

After a nice motor cleanup and receiving back the crank with new rod pressed and balanced (can always rely on cava engineering!)
It was assembly time!

Took my sweet time assembling this motor,ensuring everything is perfectly fitted and due to the fact that it's been a loooong while since I've done my last motor for this page😄

Assembled,into bike,filled with fluids and final check for any leaks / weeps.
All good.
1 kick,2 kicks, and she's alive again!

This gnarly 07 kx250 was seeking some gnarly 2 stroke love.
Went to the client to do a major service and some tlc and tuning to get this crotch rocket 100% again.
Clutch casing was heavy covered in silicone by previous owner due to oil leak, replaced gasket.
Replaced air filter,brakes,sump plug,oil,spark plug.
Cleaned and tuned carb.
New rear tyre fitted.
New sprockets and chain fitted.
Everything done at the client's home.
And then it was good to go again🤙
Motor is running like a clock and pulling like a steam train !

Yz250 reassembled and ready to rock again🙌.

This awesome machine laid in pieces by a previous mechanic for a long time,with parts missing afterwards...
Needless to say we helped the client wherever we could and managed all parts needed, had to do some modifications to fit another model's radiators and other parts as it's originals were gone.
Motor assembled with new gaskets,new linkage kit fitted,new packing,brakes rebuilt,wheel spacers made,air filter,and some other odds and ends.
Bike is restored back to it's running glory and is going oh so strong🙌

This ktm 200exc came in for some tlc work and parts to be replaced.

Clutch not working - turns out the inner clutch hub had 2 fingers broken off! Got another one with new plates and it's operating super smooth again!
New shrouds and front fender fitted, airbox cover still on it's way from ktm.
Carb serviced
Fork seals done
New front & rear tyres fitted
New air filter
Serviced
New wheel bearings fitted
New crank seal fitted

Only left now is the airbox cover and robertco to do their magic with a sticker kit in the new year!!
