From an early age my dad Thys de Beer taught me and my brothers a love for the Nissan brand. He worked in the competition section at Nissan for many years preparing the vehicles for Hennie van de Linde , Hannes Grobler and Charles Britz to name a few.

We also had the privilege to work on one of the very first Nissan Skyline GTR's that came into SA from the track of Japan owend by Morne Visser from Race Way International. What amazing memories from an amazing mentor.

Ford iKon 1.6 Rocam
Specs:
Stock block with piston sprayers ( quite rare to find on a Rocam block )
Oversized pistons ( 0.5mm machined off )
Otherwise stock engine.
Mitsubishi 4M40 turbo
Intercooler ( 550mm x 230mm x 65mm )
Turbo manifold and boost pipes ( Custom build )
63mm Exhausted ( Custom build )
Dicktator management
550cc injectors
Quantum high flow intank fuel pump ( 360 l/h )
MSD Super conductor 8.5mm plugleads with heat sleeves fitted

Final Dyno figures @ 0.7bar boost
132kw & 268nm
95 octane
Daily driven " sleeper "

Engineering and engine build all done inhouse.

Sure that we can get more power out but not to bad for a stock engine with all stock internals.
The plus side : reliability and quite economical also.

This was quite a unique and challenging build.
But with the help from God and a few good men I am pleased with the results
All engineering and assembly done in house by Dextera Domini Mechanical Works

Thank you Richy's Service Centre for the fitment of the Dicktator system and tuning of the vehicle.

Branden thank you for fabricating the turbo manifold, exhaust system , boost pipes and intake pipe.

Note the vehicle is set at 0.45bar boost to give the engine some brake-in time.
